Ruiz dodging? No way. He's after more dough. That is all. He has no reason to duck and run. You last statement is the real question here. Why would Hearn make that announcement so seemingly precipitously.

Vasyl Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell
For some reason the other thread about this fight has changed to the Ruiz/Joshua rematch 3 pages in, not sure whats went on there, either way I'm pretty stoked for this fight, I'm a Lomachenko fanboy so anytime he fights I'm buzzing, even the Crolla mismatch, I think we all knew going into that one Crolla was about as unlikely to win that fight as any boxer ever, Lomachenko didn't fvck around and took him apart with ease swiftly
I think Campbell's style will bring something different to the table, tall rangy, skilful and a fellow lefty, its gonna be intriguing to see how Loma deals with him, I still cant see anything other than a Loma win, Campbell may pose some new problems but Loma has plans A-Z so whatever Campbell may bring to the table I'm sure Lomachenko will have several ways of nullifying him, I think Campbell's in decent form, dominated the Mendy rematch and a lot of people thought he beat Linares, I personally thought it was a fairly convincing win for Linares that night as far as the scores were concerned but Campbell showed he can hang with the top Lightweights
I think Campbell is a boxer who can learn and improve from losses, didn't his dad pass 2 weeks before the Linares? That's mustve contributed to the training camp and the fight, I hope he gives a good account of himself, there were small signs that Lomachenko was troubled by the taller Linares and Pedraza but really Loma came up trumps in the end and I think he will here as well, could be a bit of a chess match and it might get slated by some quarters, I have a feeling Campbell can last the distance but Lomachenko will have too much speed, angles and firepower for Campbell and should still win a UD

Re: Vasyl Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell
This is Lomas toughest fight. It’s like an elite 12 round amateur bout.
Re: Vasyl Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell
Campbell has been trying something outside the box to prepare for Loma:
"The only thing that I have been doing that is very different is sparring three people at once. So three guys in the ring against me," Campbell said.
"It was good, but obviously it is really difficult at first. You get punches coming at you from all angles and from unexpected areas, but it certainly makes you sharp."
I'd love to see footage of that

I can't see Campbell causing him any real problems. He's still got that am upright style which Loma has seen and beat before. Campbell was a very good am and is a good pro but I don't think he's got anywhere near enough to cause the upset here

Campbell’s not winning on points. The only chance he has is if he times his head movement/get lucky like linares and hope Loma doesn’t get up/British referee type stoppage

I’m the same - he has improved slightly but I can’t fathom how people think he’ll beat Loma who’ll have fought all shapes/sizes over the years.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑27 Aug 2019, 04:37I don’t get what people are seeing that Campbell is gonna win this?

Heavily favouring Lomachenko but some of the things he is coming out with this week about a lack of motivation after collecting all the belts is slightly odd?

Nobody is saying Luke will win, and Luke has fought all shapes and sizes over the years as well.3132DW wrote: ↑27 Aug 2019, 05:53I’m the same - he has improved slightly but I can’t fathom how people think he’ll beat Loma who’ll have fought all shapes/sizes over the years.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑27 Aug 2019, 04:37

I'm giving him about a 30% chance.ShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑27 Aug 2019, 07:31People are saying he’s going to win.mickey1975 wrote: ↑27 Aug 2019, 06:40

And that's only to stop Loma, I don't feel Campbell can out point him.
Luke is significantly bigger. He moves pretty well, has a nice screw shot to the body, and a better than average jab.
I'm not putting any money on him, but I do feel he will make Loma work for it.
