If you want to teach a guy to make his punches as hard as possible, you teach him the exact opposite of Fury's technique

A great puncher hits through his target and would leave himself open afterward.

Yeah the loose levers mean that most of the energy generated, is lost on impact. He's only seemingly interested in winning by outboxing opponents.

Punching power is a form of physical strength, as is chin, I think that a better comparison would be muscle mass to punching power.
Muscularity can be a weakness.
