This fight should not be sanctioned. Wallin hasn't ever even fought ayone ranked as high as #200 before. Where does Boxrec get off ranking him #47? I see many below him with much better credentials.

Although I am not enthused by this match up, I think you are overexagerating quite a bit.

PBO are seen as a fairly accurate non-affiliated rating group:

Wallin is ranked #25 by PBO. Adrian Grant was ranked #26 when Wallin beat him for a Euro title.

To put that into some perspective, Washington - who some people would prefer - is at his highest ever ranking of #21 atm. When he fought for the WBC title he was ranked #32 by PBO.

But it is what it is, Wallin is an unbeaten euro level opponent in a keep busy fight. Fury is on for 3 - 4 fights within a calendar year.

When the WBC Champion was defending his title 2-3 times a year, he wasn't really facing top 25 fighters either.

Again I'm not particularly excited about the fight, but as others have said, Fury is fighting regularly and really who was available that was an appropriate opponent?

Is that overly active? Id guess Most guys are close to that schedule when you start it on a fight night.

Furys side dont want a Wilder rematch and its clear as day when you see them keep pushing the date back. They managed to snag the same 10m+ money for stiffs , so why fight the guy who can take his head off? Fury landed the jackpot and Im not sure there is any intent to rematch.

Hyping it? Fury beating a bunch of domestic level heavyweights won’t hype nothing. Anyone with half a brain cell won’t be duped by wearing silly hats and dancing during his walk out bollocks
