People don’t realize how so many prospects waste years in complete futility. I remember he was a prospect about 10 years ago. Padilla’s has had almost no TV fights and still seems to be wasting time in meaningless fights. So many guys in this slow and torturous path. Unless you have an influential manager and promotion that really believes in you, you can spend you career making 3 thousand dollars a fight (or less) 3 x a year even with an undefeated record and years of experience.
