Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Dub would destroy him, the exact type of fighter Pricey will freeze up and get KTFO against. Queensberry push it because Price has some momentum but they know it will be another highlight-reel, monster building KO for big bad Dan.
Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Price might give DDD some problems if he can execute his jab for a while, but Dubs would figure it out and I'd say take him out in five.
Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
At last a decent match up !
Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Would be the biggest puncher DD has faced which would be another decent test. I’d favour DD but it’d be another good learning fight for him. Much better fight than Allan

Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Silly fight for Price. Like a reverse Price/Audley. He needs to knock over a Gerald Washington and perhaps campaign for a Tyson Fury shot.
Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
No chance, this is a step down from Gorman and Dubby pasted him, awful matchup for Price. Dubois has shown in his last 2 fights he can more than take a dig and is willing to do so to get his own shots off, this a massive mismatch - Price would have a better chance rematching povetkin than beating dub.

I posted Dub in five. Is that not a mismatch?Ricky wrote: ↑29 Aug 2019, 22:07No chance, this is a step down from Gorman and Dubby pasted him, awful matchup for Price. Sure, i just disagree Price poses him any kind of problems.oogiebe wrote: ↑29 Aug 2019, 22:13I posted Dub in five. Is that not a mismatch?Ricky wrote: ↑29 Aug 2019, 22:07

Price will most likely suffer one of his worst ko's if he took this fight.

Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
It’s doesnt really make sense for him but if the money is good he might. As someone said he could hang on for a fight with Tyson Fury possibly
Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
All wrong for Price he should pick a less threatening opponent and get a couple of wins in the bank before a big pay day. DDD will retire Price and the paycheck wont be good enough for that.
Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Pointless fight. We all know, that Price's chin won't take Dubois' punch.

Pianeta went 10 with Tyson. Why not have Price flatten him in a few rounds and call out the Furious One? They have an old grudge which would sell. Call it 'Land of the Giants'. I should be in PR.

Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Price should only be after Fury at this point, in terms of profit for risk.
It's one of the few fights I'd give him a chance in, and yet Fury's one of the most skilful heavies. That's why I'd be interested in it.

Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
If Wilder does Fury, it’s a good comeback fight. If Fury does Wilder, it’s a good homecoming providing Price can stay relevant.
Selling it here would be easy. The last man to (officially) beat Fury. I say ‘officially’, as unofficially, that was John McDermott.
Speaking of Big John, I could do with some of those magic weight loss scales he had

The Fury/Price promo writes itself.Grilling Machine wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 10:10 Price should only be after Fury at this point, in terms of profit for risk.

Have Price decked out in his plumber’s overalls, plunger in hand, on his knees in front of a toilet, peering into the bowl.
‘That’s the biggest piece of sh*t I’ve seen since Tyson Fury’s last opponent.’
Suddenly the bathroom door is thrown open and Tyson Fury barges in, festooned in one of his lurid Max Cady-style shirts, with an irate look on his face.
‘I’ll have you for that, you stiff plumber. It’s me and thee at the MGM Grand, December 2019, live on ESPN. Until then… unblock my toilet.’
Price looks dismally into camera.
Cut to Otto Wallin’s face, looking up at him from the inside of the toilet bowl:
‘You can do it, Pricey!’

Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Weirdly, when it comes to Price, Dubois is probably more dangerous an opponent than Fury is!

Re: Dubois v Price looking good.
Exactly!
Almost every top heavy stops Price, but Fury's not a one-shot finisher and I don't fancy he'd outhustle Price on the inside. It'd be Fury outpointing him until the plumber's tank emptied after a few rounds, with a small chance of a thunderous shot threading home and stiffening Fury right up.
I think it'd be really entertaining, and Price is far more comparable to Ortiz than Wallin when it comes to rematching Wilder.
