Plenty of vids of him training. The only thing I've seen/heard is that his next opponent will be a 'name.' Nothing further.

I'd like to see him in a true step-up fight. A top 50'ish.dagilechia wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 16:36yeah i was thinking about Hrgović-Mansour fight... Samuel Peter wouldn't be better though

Gerald Washington would be a good opponent for so many guys right now.

Fedosov too, not for Usyk though
Re: When HW Efe Ajagba is fighting nex opponent ?
Yeah I think he has a target on his back for alot of the US based up and coming guys. Low risk/comparably high reward after the Helenius fight.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 16:40 Gerald Washington would be a good opponent for so many guys right now.

I find it interesting that BoxRec has him suspended by the Nevada SAC until august 2020. No news around about that. Not sure what it's all about.

Could see Arreola being used too after the respectable Kow showing
Re: When HW Efe Ajagba is fighting nex opponent ?
I was thinking of that, but maybe Arreola might be a bit much for Ajagba just yet. That performance against Kow was impressive for Chris. More left than I thought.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 16:48 Could see Arreola being used too after the respectable Kow showing

I might be missing something but don't see what the hype about Ajagba is about a prospect like Dubois has shown more potential
Re: When HW Efe Ajagba is fighting nex opponent ?
Big puncher and a big HW. That always gets the fans excited. No comparison to DDD at this time. He has big output for a big man and has a lot of potential.kbackup408 wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 17:09 I might be missing something but don't see what the hype about Ajagba is about a prospect like Dubois has shown more potential

Dub gets plenty of hype too. Hype doesn't have to be limited to one guy.

The HW division is an odd at one point I felt Yoka would be pushing world honours but his career has not taken offoogiebe wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 17:11Big puncher and a big HW. Chris Arreola is nothing more than a pancake you toast to eat for Breakfast. Ali Demirizn could beats Arreaola even 5 yeara ago, who fought ajagba.oogiebe wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 16:53I was thinking of that, but maybe Arreola might be a bit much for Ajagba just yet. I'm referring to Arreola's performance against Kow. He was far better than he's been for a while. Not sure if it's Kow or Arreola. Anyway, that fighter is a bit of a reach for Efe right now.
Re: When HW Efe Ajagba is fighting nex opponent ?
Don't worry about him, another Eng fan who can't stand any HW to shine outside UK.oogiebe wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 17:11Big puncher and a big HW. That always gets the fans excited. Re: When HW Efe Ajagba is fighting nex opponent ?
Daniel Dubipus = mike tyson
Efe Ajagba = Lennox lewis
DD blooms early age like tyson, while Ajagba blooms later like lennox. DD is not soild 6'5" and looks puffy at 238lbs, and Efe looks way taller than 6'6" amd looks razor sharp like a knife at 242 LBS. These are the physical attributes differences if anyone likes to know
Re: When HW Efe Ajagba is fighting nex opponent ?
Efe's reach is incredible at 85". If he can get more fluid, he'll be top of the heap.Boxtune wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 17:46Daniel Dubipus = mike tyson

Efe reach is difinitly not 85". If Bryant jennings, Lennox Lewis or buster Douglas all have 84" reach, then to say ajaba reach anything less than 86-87" is a crime.oogiebe wrote: ↑30 Aug 2019, 17:51Efe's reach is incredible at 85". Re: When HW Efe Ajagba is fighting nex opponent ?
regarding arreola. Of course it would be a step up for efe as he just fought juys with zero chance to beat him until demirezen. but also a mismatch,
wouldn't like to see arreola get slaughtered by ajagba & beaten to a blood spurting quivering pulp refusing to go down.
Arreola's too tuff for his own good in this one.
No need to disfigure chris completely, as he's already looking quite grotesque.
put ajagba in with guys that are ranked in front of him. real tests where he can show if he's the real deal. like chisora, rivas, price or even fuckin' parker. of course none of it will happen.
yoka, hrgovic should likewise face opponents that actually test them rather sooner than later.
as dubois & joyce started to test the slightly deeper waters already, maybe even facing each other soon. that's the kind of fights people wanna see.
Arreola should fight guys he actually has a chance of beating like washington, breazale... you name em'.
