Bugner's skills were uh -mediocre on his best days.

To be fair Ilya, Bugner is really a forward fighter throwing combinations. He didn't possess Hughie's defensive skills or Hughie's jab. He tried hard, was in shape, had some power, had mobility, but none taught him slip, roll, slide, step move like Hughie.

Hughie to win in round 2 is the most popular of all boxing bets listed by oddschecker atm :oo

Hughie any other round is around 50/1, but he's only around 8/1 for the second, pretty strange :KO:

Povetkin looks chubby, but look at Fury from the side. He doesn't have chest muscles. He looks frail.

It definitely suggests that somebody EXPECTS a fixed result or something. So there would definitely be a lot of eyebrows raised if that happened.

Hughie knocking out Povetkin at all would stun me. If he did it in the 2nd round I wouldn't even believe it.

Some seem to forget that Hughie is fast of both foot and hand, and that he knows what to do to avoid getting hit. Sasha could get VERY frustrated trying land something solid on Hughie.

I guess Povetkin has more than enough experience to be VERY frustrated in round 2 :maybe:

He's never been in a ring with so agressive and skilled pressure fighter like Povetkin. Andriy Rudenko, a short, mediocre pressure fighter, was landing a fair amount of right overhands and troubled Hughie a bit. I think that Sasha's style will be a problem for HF.

2 of the bookies on odds check have Hughie in round 2 as low as 41/13... That's nearly the same as just Hughie fury to win anyway. You can get the same odds betting on Hughie by stoppage at any point in the fight.
Don't understand what's happening there.

Boxing is a weird sport. Experts in the tv studio openly admit that there is a possibility that HF will win by a robbery and nobody is concerned, it's a regular prediction in boxing.

Hometown decisions are why to common.

And everybody goes with cause of it is boxing. In boxing you can do this. You know, becuse it is boxing...

Fury might get taken out by Alexander. He didin't impress at all against Peters. But maybe not. Cause it is boxing.

Where is that poster who is aghast at TFKoB’s behind the ear shots?

Povetkin does not look good so far. Hughie may actually stop him late.

Povetkin comes out strong in round 4. With that much effort, if he does not hurt Hughie soon, he will tire significantly.

Povetkin doesn't look half as sharp as he did against AJ and Price. I am very surprised.

Povetkin looks declined and more fragile than before but he is still good. 4-1 AP.

He's not letting his hands go, and when he does, his punches lack snap.

What a way for a great contender to finish his career. Showing up fat and out of shape...against a fighter that's very beatable.

I'm kind of disgusted with Povetkin.

Povetkin landing better than Hughie early 8. POV not as blown as he looked a couple of rounds ago. POV beating up Hughie here. POV expending a lot of energy.
