End of the day it was also poor refereeing, I mean it was an obvious punch , the ref saw it , so he should of give a 5 minute rest for Edwards at the least .

Martinez easy , BUT it was a clear foul , Edwards was down on the knee and got hit with the hardest punch of the fight , , should be a no contest , although a rematch would'nt matter it would be the same result.. Well looks like its a no contest , fair enough rules are rules , you can't throw your best punch when your opponents down on his kneee ,,

But there will be no rematch but good on the wbc for overturning the bbbc and doing the right thing

Exactly
I think because the normal action would have been give Edwards 5 minutes to recover instead of DQ......but it was too late for that, so NC.

Yeah I’ll be messaging them requesting they just void the bet and refund my stake due to the nature of how it ended. I’ve withdrawn the winnings and the withdrawal looks to have been processed and they have put my account into a negative.

Part of me thinks they won’t becuase they are bookies but part of me thinks I’ve bet with them so much over the years they will go with it as some form of goodwill.
I done the Mexican. Is that fukin void now :bag:

Martinez was kicking Edward’s butt, however, he clearly threw a hard blow well after Edwards took the knee. Martinez has only himself to blame.

I suspect Edwards wont want any part of a rematch. Before the no contest was issued, he was interviewed and was talking about a bad camp, doing the weight was a struggle and moving up a division.

It was one of the most clear cut fouls you'll ever see. Martinez sat down on the punch and launched it. There is no way he couldn't see Edwards on one knee. He even briefly paused when Edward went down as though he was going to stand off and then thought fk it have this one for good measure.

The ref was a joke for not having the simple ability of seeing such a blatant foul.

I do agree though with what someone else said. Edwards looked to take advantage of the situation, but its impossible to say for sure with body shots.

I won massive on augilar 1-3, i withdrew, since been void and my 365 account is -£1280. Ive had them before reset to 0 as a show of goodwill but I'm not sure they'll do it for 4 figures.
