Hughie utterly unimpressive. No way that he deserves the win. A draw maybe.

WOW

117-111 x 3!!!

Right man won but that was wide for me.

Might get the nod. Maybe.
Fury won't get anything from this win. Povetkin is so bad that Fury should have knocked him out by now.
I did look better then against Peters I think.

But he didn't get did as Im watching the decision right now.

I couldnt have been more wrong about this. They obviously dont give half a crap about Hughie over there. They didnt protect him AT ALL.

I think they gave the nod to Povetkin because, out of the two guys, he will make the more marketable stepping stone for some better fighter. Both heavyweights stunk tonight....neither stands a chance against legitimate contenders.

There's no way Povetkin can ever marketed as a credible "A" side fighter again after a performance like this. I can't believe he even trained for this bout. Hughie's people probably took the fight because they had inside info that Sasha was too fat to perform competently.

I decent fight. Povetkin confidently dominated, just as I had seen it prior to the bout. The scorecards were surprisingly fair. I had almost the same, Povetkin 118-110.

Congratulations to Povetkin, a well deserved W. I thought that he would tire and lose the decision but the opposite happened. :salut:

That’s way wide for me but I could see it as wide as 116-112. Doesn’t matter. They got it right!

What i saw of it, up to midway in rd. 11, Pov was definitely winning, but he wasn't impressive. He was mostly missing.

Hughie needs to learn an identity. He used to fight in the ol' Cassius Clay style. Saw none of that after round one.

I think if i just watched rd. 1 I would have seen the whole fight.

I turned the sound off too because those a-hole commenters were yapping it up about everything except the fight in progress.

In this case it would be true after round 4 or so.

Hughie just needs to fight some fighter not on "P". Parker, Pulev, Povetkin. A bad letter for him. "P" means poo performance for Hughie. Maybe he also needs to change the coach, as he is Peter...

Hughie was more worn out than a man 15 years older and waaay past his best. Hughie will likely never go anywhere.
