lemme inform you that from now on you officially belong to the annoying Loma's fans... :witzend:

Alas..... it’s true, much to my chagrin...... i’ve been trying to resist the hype, But yesterday he showed some “meanness and toughness” and better power to the head than i’ve seen from him previously. He’s still behind Bud and Innoue on my P4P list though.

I need an African and an Arab to round out my top 5 P4P and then I can have the “United Nations” P4P list or at least a Benetton Clothes ad. :TU:

Richard Commey may be next but personally I'd like to see Loma fighting Miguel Berchelt. :box:

Nothing really wrong with that last comment except for the "A fighter that can compete at Welterweight" crap being thrown in for no real reason.

I'd like to see Loma fight Berchelt too.

It was more the thread title, but I do find that the CS is rabidly anti-British fighters, and I’m not massively nationalist to be fair...

I don't find that to be the case really. Depends on the fighter I guess. A lot of people tend to be fair weather fans that just root for the guy they think is gonna win or whatever.

Quite a few British fighters I've been a fan of.

Maybe it's just not so leaning British? :maybe: UK fans are rapid loyalists, which I respect. I don't care where a fighter is from. I don't like AJ but I love Dubois. I fancy Efe Ajagba as a prospect but never felt very high on Gorman or Hughie. Can't stand Miller; Franklin; or many other US HW's. Hate Whyte but like Dave Allen. As far as who is crap or great, I could care less where they are from.

Yeah but being critical of a fighter isn't negativity. It's just being realistic about their strengths and weaknesses.

Avoiding criticism because of a fighter's nationality is blind patriotism.

You can support a fighter whilst still being critical of them.

It's true, no group just gushes and gushes over their fighters, at least on forums. Hardcore fans are picky and fickle whatever the nationality, well, maybe save the East Euros--they love their boys no matter what

Lol at some people acting like Campbell isn't huge for 135 lbs division with the height of 5′ 9″ / 175cm and reach of 71″ / 180cm. Also he is a big framed fighter too.

Loma was a midget compared to him. Let's see if Campbell will dare to move up at 140 lbs and face guys like Taylor, Prograis or Ramirez. :box:

He's a tall fighter but not some giant. He has a thin frame. He won Olympic gold at 123 pounds.

Yes, he is a lightweight. He just took on a wrong featherweight.
