Samuel Salva vs Pedro Taduran

Post by handsofstone »

B/Nation have just picked up this card from the Phillipennes this Saturday, 2 locals fighting for the vacant IBF Minimumweight title, you could count the amount of Minimumweight fights ive seen on both hands, I have no idea about the little men, looking through their records Salva is 17-0 orthodox with 10KOs to his name and Taduran is 13-2 lefty with 10 early, both losses on points, the most recent to a fella named Chayaphon Moonsri for the WBC title, lost wide on the cards, I'm sure BP might know a fair bit more about both men

There's frig all boxing for a couple of weeks so nice to see Bnation come up trumps, not very often that happens these days

The Co feature has the potential to be a total fire fight, more interested in that than the main bout tbh.

Taduran's the more proven in the main event but Salva has the edge in power imo. Both are fairly aggressive and will engage, but suspect they will struggle to hurt each other too badly.

Magramo is an offensive machine and Komgrich is a clumsy but tough pressure fighter.. Result. War!

"The Asian Kid" looks a decent prospect, but that "fight" would have Allegedly blushing if it was a floater in his toilet - let alone a fight card.

If you could fuse these two together you'd have The GOAT @ Minimum weight.

Purist, composed skills under pressure from Salva, while Taduran is a physical and mental beast.
Great fight so far. :box:

Wee cracker of a fight, Taduran is a little buzzsaw who just never stopped firing out punches, even before getting dropped in the 1st he was overwhelming Salva with his output, Salva just walked him on to a right hand counter and Salva landed that same shot a few times but that was all he really done, apart from that it was a tough long 4 rounds for him, Taduran just never gave him a moments peace, he mustve threw near 500 punches in the time it lasted, Salva turned his back at one point so you sensed he was nearly done, the point off for the headbutt was probably a relief for him just to give him a breather, he might have done well to last to the end of the 4th round but not much of a surprise to see him fail to come out for the 5th
