Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Otto Wallin have come to terms to meet on Sept. 14.




The fight, which will headline a Top Rank Boxing on ESPN+ card, will take place at T-Mobile Arena.

This one has gone under the radar not many people talking about it or care. BT BOX OFFICE as well. Wonder if it will do more than 50k buys. Tyson doesn't care after his crazy ESPN deal.

Fury must be pissing himself laughing I bet he's made a fortune for the Schwarz and Wallin fights, he probably got paid not too shabbily for the Seferi and Pianeta fights as well, fair play to him but to go around harping on abut this Lineal crap is embarrassing, after putting in such a great performance against Wilder he's went back into safety first mode, maybe the knockdowns in that fight damaged him psychologically slightly??

Wallin like Schwarz, unbeaten but untested, its a dreadful fight for the best Heavyweight around, I wonder what Arum and ESPN are thinking, throwing money away, nobody knows this fights happening and those that do aren't arsed, BT seriously overestimating the popularity of Fury sticking this on PPV, I know Wallin's a southpaw so maybe he might prove tricky for a few rounds but no doubt Fury will be in total control and should get him out of there within 4 rounds or he might want to carry Wallin to make things seem competitive, the Wallin vs BJ Flores fight that was scrapped recently would've been better

I doubt ESPN cares much. Arum has his budget and they aren't expecting boxing to garner near the top of their subscriptions. Now a money losing ppv against wilder is a concern.

Boxing has been booming for some years now, but this is the sort of utter 5hit to take it back to the days of Sky Sports/ Hearn/ W@rrren serving up pointless rubbish to the fee paying customers.

Tyson Fury has become a complete con-man and has the audacity to make snide comments about Joshua etc.

He may be losing in world class, but I have far more respect for his cousin Hughie in taking on serious challenges.

Sometimes boxing goes through the cycle of building up great fights, then getting greedy, fans turning off, then having to build it up again. Let's hope the sport is too healthy to repeat the mistakes of the past.

I give Fury a lot of credit for beating Klit. I, for one, didn't think he had it in him. He had Cruisers who were minute compared to him knocking him on his arse. But he did well to win that fight, "away" to Klitschko. It was a dull fight, but he won when I didn't think he would.

Saying that, most of the rest of his career has been a bit pointless. Maybe beating Chisora for the British title was a decent win. But what else of any note has he done? He's gone back to fighting smaller guys or guys with little chance of winning on PPVs.

People like him because he turns up and dresses up as Batman, or whatever. But as you say, far too much reliance on easy fights for fat dollar.

Great press conference. I am very happy for Tyson Fury. He is obviously in a very good place in his life. He looks to be in excellent physical and mental condition. He is a real breath of fresh air with his humor and lucidity.

I am also impressed with Wallin. He is confident and I believe that he is going to go for it. It is extremely unlikely that he can make this competitive, but he is appreciative and excited for the opportunity, and he seems to be handling the situation very well. He is not intimidated.
