Re: Foster v Reid
Fight of the weekend for me probably, I like Foster, only 21 but has a good boxing head on his shoulders, British and Commonwealth champ after 11 fights, schooled Wale by all accounts and had a good last round stoppage win over Lane last time out and here he is going in with another top prospect in Reid, haven't seen Reid box in a while but he's been decent from what ive seen, its a step up in levels though, Foster was able to do it when he beat Wale for the British, stil remains to be seen whether Reid can do the same
I thought Foster looked quality early doors against Lane, looked relaxed and picked his shots nicely, he switched off a bit in the middle rounds though and switched stances a few times which knocked him out his rhythm , still young though and he'll learn from it hopefully, as I said I haven't seen Reid in a while and cant remember much about him, isn't he quite flashy and aggressive??

What makes you say that pat?
Re: Foster v Reid
Foster for me good fight but Foster has got more there at the moment
Re: Foster v Reid
I think Foster is sharp and hits hard. Reid cut up last fight. Hope it's a good fight though.

Re: Foster v Reid
When I've seen Reid, he did moves that the commentators were loving but really struck me as more superficial and vain. Like, Loma style pivots and footwork, but when it was totally needless to do so and just amounted to wasted movement with no practical benefit. Wonder how that stuff flies if he tries it this time.
I'll need to check out Foster. Haven't seen him yet, but has some results that defo look good for a 21 year old and are much better than anything Reid's done.
