Re: allegedly or Eddie
Fronk is very good at bringing fighters along, he’s an excellent matchmaker, but I imagine you’d get more exposure and earn more scratch with Hearn in the long run, I’ve never seen him in a court battle with a fighter either which must be a good thing. Probably pick Hearn but like has been said Haymon would be my number one choice, fighters love him.
Re: allegedly or Eddie
Of the two both have their issues, but with W@rren there has been so many lawsuits which would make me nervous plus Hearn has the significant star making power of Sky behind him so I reckon i'd go with Eddie.
Re: allegedly or Eddie
Absolutly no question , In the states Haymon ,, has said simply because all his fighters love him .
In the UK , Hearn Has given guys second chances , to deliver after they have failed , Never heard any complaints about not getting paid , Not involved in lawsuits , and above all ,, will tell you up front , its a buisness fist .

Re: allegedly or Eddie
Fwank seems really bitter and snide about Eddeh-the type who will get in every chance he can to make a dig or to slant against him on any issue
Re: allegedly or Eddie
Neither. If you're good enough, Mick Hennessy.
Re: allegedly or Eddie
Allegedly - gut feeling.
Re: allegedly or Eddie
That’s the thing a fighter should never not be paid - for taking the ultimate risk.
The fact others have not been paid or ended in courts just doesn’t sit right and the fact only few months ago they were being chased for monies again.

Hearn for me.
If I had a good lawyer I’d consider Fwank.

If you sign with Eddie, will you get a fight ?
Re: allegedly or Eddie
Good question - I would say Hearn, mainly cos I'm not convinced by the viewing figures of BT Sport compared to Sky Sports.... although since Hearn is diluting his attention to the states - its not as clear as it was.
I think though ultimately the BJS scenario would be the deal sealer - just couldn't get that big fight with Frank.

I highly doubt Joshua will get the Fury fight.stujones wrote: ↑13 Sep 2019, 08:33 Good question - I would say Hearn, mainly cos I'm not convinced by the viewing figures of BT Sport compared to Sky Sports.... although since Hearn is diluting his attention to the states - its not as clear as it was.

Re: allegedly or Eddie
Circumstantial. For example when you are signed to a contract when defeating one of his guys or he can use you for gain for example the way he is using jordan mccorry then allegedly is shocking. I dont like either but out the two I feel eddie is honest about what it is. Also pays more too. I believe as a prospect coming up allegedly is better bet, Eddie tends to push them faster and take more risks in regards to domestic challenges and sticking them in at the deep end. I believe unless your an Olympian or selling ridiculous amounts of tickets like the way buglioni, adam etches and most the essex lot do then a smaller promoter like Carl greaves or Mark dunlop in Ireland and also satire in scotland are ideal. I wish ex boxers would go out and manage more etc and guide the new ones cause I know first hand in Dundee alot of the guys turning over for the wrong reasons, rubbish pay and no real plan. I guess it's a cycle.

Joshua has made a fortune though. Has Billy Joe?mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Sep 2019, 08:56I highly doubt Joshua will get the Fury fight.stujones wrote: ↑13 Sep 2019, 08:33 Good question - I would say Hearn, mainly cos I'm not convinced by the viewing figures of BT Sport compared to Sky Sports.... although since Hearn is diluting his attention to the states - its not as clear as it was.

Re: allegedly or Eddie
If I wanted to be ranked undeservedly high by the WBO, then get a vacant title shot against an easy opponent, then be an equally undeserving world champion, then defend my title in a leasure centre with loads of empty seats, then fail a drugs test and have my promoter threaten to sue the commission for slander, then get another vacant title shot in my next fight even though I was stripped and have never fought at the higher division, then be offered a new contract just after the fight when I was physically and mentally exhausted and am in no position to decide on my future and then at some point face legal action from said promoter............... then my choice would be ____ ______.
