I was in 2 minds about staying up for this when i thought it was free, who on earth at BT made the decision that this should be on BoxOffice!? What is wrong with these people. We should petition for a law to make it mandatory for broadcasters to release official sales numbers for ppv events - the ridicule of selling a few hundred would hopefully put a stop to it.

It does seem bizarre. No way does it sell. Even the topics on here about it barely garner any attention.

How many buys does this do?? I'll watch the repeat on my dodgy box tomorrow morning
Re: just noticed that Tyson Fury vs Otter Wally is a £20 PPV
surely it can't be more than a few thousand at the very most. It seems to me it only suits a very tiny demographic; hardcore fight fans that stay up until 5am and don't really care about chucking £20 onto the TV bill. I've pretty much just described myself, but not on your nelly am i buying this.... and i would have even paid for the Haney card last night because i was in dire need of something to watch. At least tonight i got some UFC.handsofstone wrote: ↑14 Sep 2019, 11:45 How many buys does this do?? I'll watch the repeat on my dodgy box tomorrow morning

Yeah this is a joke of a PPV. Would honestly be amazed if more than a couple of hundred people bought it

£150 plus VAT for commercial premise. Plenty of money to be made from clubs, pubs, sports bars, casino's, hotels, strip clubs, hookah bars etc......

The hardcore won’t buy it. Drunks or cokeheads might think it’s a good idea when they get in.Ricky wrote: ↑14 Sep 2019, 12:05surely it can't be more than a few thousand at the very most. A paid for subscribed channel charging £20 for a fight this shit is absolutely criminal, I wouldn’t get up at four in the morning for this if it was free, if you know anyone buying this please DM me, I need to tell them about my uncle in Uganda whose trying to get £4m into England. Rumour is it’s sold under 1500 tickets I hope it does about the same in PPV sales, absolute pudenda

They're going after the post-bender, what's £20 when I just spent £200 on Charlie crowd maybe.
Re: just noticed that Tyson Fury vs Otter Wally is a £20 PPV
People buy it, that’s why they make it PPV. That’s just how the sport is now. It doesn’t mean you have to fork out.
