Well that's my point. Uncle Bob doesn't seem to want to make a big fight for Craw. Doesn't talk him up and such.

I don't even hold the loss against Loma, because it's simply so unreal to fight a guy like Salido in your second pro fight, but Linares and Campbell I thought were also more competitive with him than any have been with Craw. Only Gamboa really gave Crawford a fight and that was for like 2.5 rounds, then he started making out with the canvas.
Loma fighting Linares and Campbell would be comparable with Crawford fighting JMW elite, but he hasn't even fought WW elite.

He's not big enough for Bob or al to mingle.

 yeah, very comparable to Crawford/Hurd. I'll give it to you, when you hug balls it's full throttle.

IDK OTO, Craw vs Spence is one of the biggest fights out there. Unless you are saying Bob and Al prefer HW's over smaller fighters.

It's a massive fight for us. No way it sees 1 million ppvs. The fighters would do it, but it wouldn't generate sharing kind of money. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think we'll ever see it.

Also Spence is a bigger draw and only going to get bigger. That won't help.

Implying that getting al and Bob to work together would likely require a 50/50 split. It's the promoters, not the fighters that makes this one so hard to make. As for legacy, Spence has the better opportunity within the pbc. Buds only shot in the short term would be prograis or Ramirez. If prograis is as good as I think he is that could be awesome.

He’s beaten everyone put in front of him.

I think he boxed well against Postol. Even dropped him twice.
Bud beat Postol at the top of his game: Unbeaten and coming off a beatdown of Matthysse when Lucas was all that. Crawford has done something to take fighters down a notch when he fights them, like B-Hop did in his prime. Postol, Gamboa & Indongo were not the same after losing to Crawford.

But Bingo Bob Arum has Bud fighting softer opposition these days. :verysad:

Danny Garcia beat Lucas when Lucas was all that, and let's be honest, it was like a 1 round fight prior to the end between Lucas and Postol. Bud's beaten solid fighters, but even taking them when he beat them none were particularly impressive. Bud is fully capable of beating anyone around his weight and he's done a great job on who he has fought-- more consistently dominant than pretty much anyone vs the same level.

His resume is solid to me, but for a guy with his talent it seems a disappointment simply because I rate him so high. No doubt to me he handily beats every welter but Spence, and I think he could beat him too.

Who's he fought? Everyone they put in front of him. I'll admit their last match-making attempt was lame. Offering Khan $1 million more than they were willing to give Danny Garcia. WTF? Not a good look for Bud or Arum.

Arum said he already talked to Spence and Haymon, and both are on board for a fight in 2020. It doesn't look like they will let Pacquiao fight Spence, assuming he gets past Porter. I'm guessing Pac will hold that belt hostage until he retires.

Wouldn't Al want to get one of his younger guys to beat Pac eventually?
