Jarrell Miller in negotiations with Top Rank
Top Rank are reportedly in negotiations to sign unbeaten heavyweight Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller (23-0-1, 20 KOs) to a multi-fight deal, according to Mike Coppinger. Top Rank inking the 300+ pound Miller would give them another chess piece to match against lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who they’re trying to turn into a star.

Fury, Pulev, Miller, Kabayel, Jennings, Parker?
Starting to look like a good Haw stable. Would just need them to face each other.

Hopefully he fights someone good (Ortiz, Whyte, Pulev, etc.) before angling for a title shot, but considering how TR has handled Fury so far, I don't have high hopes.
Re: Jarrell Miller in negotiations with Top Rank
congrats for signing a drug cheat
Re: Jarrell Miller in negotiations with Top Rank
He was bound to sign somewhere. The business side of boxing has no soul.

Yep, he'll keep fighting no problem, just like Ortiz, Pov, Stiverne, Wach, and co. And look at Fury using and then now at a career high. Whyte will be back not long too.
Re: Jarrell Miller in negotiations with Top Rank
Yeah I think you're right. I remember something about Top Rank but I think that was back when he was going to face Jennings before he signed with Matchroom.

No. His contract with duco is up. He signed a deal solely with Matchroom. Higgins is now working as his manager/advisor.
Not sure how long his link with TR was.
When he signed with Matchroom, it didn’t say anything about still being tied TR.

Re: Jarrell Miller in negotiations with Top Rank
“I’m a man.. I’ve always respected what you do, even when you bashed me on camera,” Miller said to Hearn in the presence of Boxing Scene and other reporters during a post-fight press conference. “But I still got love for you. I think you’re a great businessman but uh…do you still want to promote me?”
Hearn couldn’t help but laugh at the suggestion.
“We’ll talk, we’ll talk,” noted Hearn, who was the promoter of record for Miller’s last two fights, coming late last year live on DAZN.
“I’m a human being. Life happens, just do better,” Miller noted. “Be a better person, taking the wrong information that didn’t need to be taken, going in the wrong direction. It happens in life. Sometimes we make decisions that cost us money, cost us opportunity.
“The main thing is being better, understanding and learning from your mistakes. I’m not going to sit here and bash Eddie. We’re all human beings. We all mistakes. On to bigger and better things. We don’t know IF ESPN is the move, we’re in negotiations right now but let’s see.”
“I still love DAZN, they treat me very well,” insists Miller. “Eddie treated me very well up until that point. It’s business, but sometimes relationships do cause you to think back and wonder what works best.”

Parker's signed to Matchroom. Miller's a drugs cheat, Jennings is average and Pulev's about to lose to AJ/Ruiz winners... it's a very weak stable
Especially considering Matchroom has Joshua, Whyte, Chisora, Takam, Usyk, Parker, Povetkin, H.Fury, Hunter, Gassiev, Hrgovic

Re: Jarrell Miller in negotiations with Top Rank
I watched a video over the weekend of Jarrell Miller telling Eddie Hearn (to his face) how much he respected him and stated his desire to work with Matchroom again. The American’s words were rather passionate and affectionate, leading me to believe that working with ESPN/Top Rank might not be his first choice.
Apart from Kubrat Pulev and Tyson Fury, with both men having far bigger fish to fry, meaning that 'Big Baby' isn't even on their radar's, what else can Bob Arum offer Miller?

I didn't say it would be the best, but it's good enough for us to potentially see some decent heavyweights facing each other.danconnollyeire wrote: ↑16 Sep 2019, 11:50Parker's signed to Matchroom.
