You cant re-rank Ruiz. Only fighters who fought.
Yes I can.

1. Fury won 116-112 and was hurt late by a fighter who was nowhere near top 15. Even if you consider Wallin (as I do) bottom end top 15 now, that was still life and death (figuratively) with a much lower ranked fighter.

2. Fury fought to a draw with Wilder, getting dropped twice.

3. Wilder flattened the lower end top 15 fighter he faced this year and stopped the top ten Ortiz prior to the draw with Fury.

4. Wilder fought to a draw with Fury who went life and death with an unranked fighter.

5. TFKoB stopped the number 1 fighter at the time.

Conclusion; while it can be done, it is ridiculous to rate anyone above TFKoB at this time. He has defeated The Man. He is The Man. Others must defeat him to get the number 1 spot.

The idea that he should not be ranked number 1 until he beats the guy who was number 1 twice is laughable.

You completely missed the point IB. The way we work this is that fighters who fought can get re-ranked. Ruiz can be re-ranked when he fights next. Anyone can make an argument for placing Ruiz 1, 2, or 3. But that is not the issue we are voting on. We are just voting on Fury, Wallis and Hunter here.

Hope that clears it up.

If that is true, it should not be. The Wallin fight shed light on the Fury v Wilder draw as well. TFKoB and AJ would have stopped Fury on Saturday night.

You have given me time to think about it though.

I amend my vote to:

Fury to 4.
Wallin to 15.
Hunter to 14.

TFKoB to #1 where he belongs. If that is not allowed due to some silly rule, consider it a protest vote.

It's how we all agreed to run the rankings from day 1.

It's not a silly rule because without that rule, the ranking would be a total mess, and it would have been totally changed every week. You can move Fury to #4 just like you did, and therefore move Ruiz to #2. If Fury gets voted below Ruiz by most, then Ruiz can take the #1 spot after Wilder's or his fight. Ruiz is at #3 just because most of the people voted like that after the AJ vs Ruiz fight. The ranking isn't perfectly the same as mine personal ranking too, but it's a BoxRec's forum ranking - so our opinion is just a one of dozens of opinions.

It's not like my personal ranking but it's quite close to, I think that nobody has a personal ranking exactly like this one, but almost everyone has it similar to.

Yes, it is a silly rule. Of course, I prefer as few rules as possible. Too many rules are what confuses things.

It's not a silly rule. Go back and read the discussion on a previous thread. Like I said, we all agreed to it as Dag explained his reasoning. Thank you.

Fury #1
Hunter #13
Wallin #15 (this gives him credit for the performance, but he can easily drop out of the top 15)

Oh for f*cks sake, there's only one f*cking rule when ranking, namely "you can only re-rank fighters who just fought". That's it. So you got one f*cking rule to work with. That should match your preferences.

Now stop just pissing around for the sake of pissing around.

Well I tried being polite, but that didn't seem to work, so I thought I'd use another style to grab your attention. Anyhow, the attempt to illustrate your own contradiction appears to have been lost in the strong language filter. Whatever, you're a smart guy, I'm sure you got the point regardless of how desperately you want to have the last word.

As of November, in the last 2 years all Dom has is a win over glass chinned C-lister Carl Negron and a KTFO 1 loss to Wilder--the first opponent in 5 years who hasn't been past the first vs Deontay. Dom's been around at HW longer, but ratings are fluid and atm Hunter defo ranks higher for me.

In the last 2 years instead of going 1-1 with a KO1 loss like Brezeale, Mike's gone 6-0 with the wins over Kuzmin and Bakole. And he beat Kiladze way easier than Kownacki did, Kil sent Kow to the hospital but couldn't manage anything vs Mike. Kiladze, Bakole, and Kuzmin would KO Negron, and I'm pretty sure at least 2 of those 3 would KO Eric Molina too. Heck, even the journeyman Hunter started his HW campaign with only lost by MD to Molina.

Really, Dom is fortunate to be ranked still at all. I'm surprised some people say no change.

Hunter beaten Kuzmin, Bakole, Ustinov, Kiladze.

Breazeale beaten Ugonoh, Molina, Negron, Kassi (it was close wasn't it?), Mansour (due to injury).

Hunter's and Breazeale's wins are at least comparable, Hunter's are imo better.

Dom is the only fighter in 5 years who hasn't been past 1 with Wilder. Stiverne has been well past 1 vs Wilder, he did it the first time, unlike Dom

Overall it is close, but for the current moment, it's clearly Hunter.

Like I said, in about the last 2 years Dom has only a C level win and a KTFO 1 loss. Hunter on the other hand, in the same time, has 6-0 with a few solid wins in there.

Something like beating Mansour 4 years ago down 50-44x3 only goes so far for Dom in current rankings.

i am surprised that a lot of people still vote for Breazeale to stay, and it is a 4th attempt of removing Breazeale from the list. he could have been out when Hunter took Miller's vacant spot, if after the Maldonado fight most voted Hunter to move to #14 instead of voting him to stay at #15. then, Ruiz defeated Joshua, he entered the list, Hunter got removed, Breazeale dropped to #15.
