TYSON FURY'S DAD NOT SATISFIED WITH TYSON'S TRAINING TEAM

John believes that Fury’s head trainer Ben Davison isn’t doing the job, and that he would have lost if he’s fought Deontay Wilder, Andy Ruiz Jr. or Alexander Povetkin last Saturday night. It’s hard to argue against John. Fury looked awful against Wallin, and you have to wonder what Davison was doing during training camp.

There were zero improvements in Fury’s game. Indeed, he put in the worst performance of his career. Fury appeared to have no power, and didn’t have the normal spring in his step that we normally see from him. He weighed in at 254 pounds, but he wasn’t as strong as he’d been in his previous two fights against Tom Schwarz and Deontay Wilder.

I can see big Johns point but trainers cant be solely blamed for everything. I watched a Ben Davidson interview after the Schwarz fight and he said Tyson wasn't doing what he advised him in the corner.

I like Ben but don't think he has much to offer Fury in terms of development.

Fury just needs to keep his body and mind focused and he should be able to outbox the current heavyweight division.

I think it's mental with Fury.

He is similar to Chris Eubank in some ways in that sometimes it seems that he adjusts his performance to the level of the opposition.

When he's in with world class opposition he turns it on, whereas if he's in with someone who isn't perceived to be that much of a threat, he can look laboured.

He's currently on a money making bum tour and that's his frame of mind.

The other issue that he has is due to his fighting style and lack of power, sometimes when he's in with someone that turns out to be better than anticipated, he can't blow these guys away easily and can end up in a potentially ageing distance fight.

He just needs to get off the bum bus and fight someone with a pulse.

Do you think Fury went on to fight in the US 3 times in a row, not for just publicity over there, maybe to get away from his father’s judging eyes, since father Fury can’t visit US because of his ex-criminal status?

considering the level of opposition I can relate to his frustration, however I wouldn't blame the team and team only..
