Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
Nothing excite me about him. All i can see are :
1 - Ugly look guy. Holyfield, tyson, lewis, Klits looked mean.
2 - Extra Ugly shape (always his trunk nearly up his chest )
3 - Boring speech with no real content
4 - No Punch , who cares if he is connecting.
5 - Outside the ring, he is even worse , absolute nobody.
6- he is making crap money
He is fart in the wind. He is so annoying. Can he go and disappear ?

Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
I agree. This guy would be nowhere ifit wasn't for his size. He lost to McDermott and when he got flattened vs Cunningham he illegally just used his weight to lean all over him, the finish certainly wasn't legal either. He actually tried similar crap vs Wallin when he realised he wasn't knocking him out, he just bullrushed him and slobbered all over him on the ropes.
As for his so called "elusiveness", he just runs, in his only 2 notable matches against Klitchko & Wilder he just did his best to keep them on the end of a pawing jab with his 7ft reach, and even vs Wilder he got dumped on his ass twice. No idea why people felt he won, Wilder got robbed. Fury is credited with having much greater skills than he actually has, this is a guy that's infamous for landing an uppercut on his own face. And let's not forget his resume utterly sucks, from 1 cherry pick to the next, he even vacated his british belt when he ducked David Price and instead fought an Irish taxi driver for the irish belt.... and even then they bent the rules for him changing it from a scheduled 10 rounds to 12.
The Heavyweight division is more exciting post-Klitchko but it certainly isn't a higher standard. A healthy version of either brother would dominate this lot just as easily.

You think he's not making good money? Jesus
Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
Feel the hate in this thread.
Like it or not, prime or not, exciting or not, Fury defeated Wlad. I think that he deserves credit for his comeback from his physical, emotional, and mental collapse. I also scored the fight for Wilder on the night, but I could see a draw being fair, given the number of close rounds.
Which brings me to the point; I have a problem with Fury fans. I think that Tyson is an overall positive for the sport, but the linearal stuff is intolerable.
It is interesting that someone finally brought up Fury’s “borderline” tactics post cut. The ref allowed “infighting.” This is the heavyweight division. They slobber on each other for a living.
Fury is entertaining outside of the ring. He promotes well. TFKoB will dismantle him.

Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
I was sold on him as a personality after the Klitschko fight, when he was awkwardly enthusiastic about thanking Jesus over and over, then broke down into tears, then took the microphone from Lennox Lewis and sang an Aerosmith song with a weird country twang in his voice.
Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
disagree. i used to be a hater, but
him coming back like he did was
very surprising and impressive to
me. his anatomy is not ideal for a
pro athlete, but reality is, guys of
that size usually look like that. we
just got used to some creeps of
nature who are 2m high with the
structure of 1.80.
for the talking, second to only the
GOAT. so all in all, tyson is a more
than exciting ingredient within the
HW soup.

I'd like to change no 6 for compulsively persistent liar and drug cheat, bit 5/6 isn't bad.
Knowing what we now know he shouldn't have even been allowed into the ring with Klitschko.
Then came all the interminable method acting to avoid a ban (not to mention any chance of a rematch), then all the endless subsequent milking of his so-called troubles as he tries to trouble his way to $100 million.
You can call him many things such as contradictory, crafty, cunning, devious, elusive, manipulative but you certainly can't call him stupid.
Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
..love how this nandrolone case was thrown out of court and how Furys could have bankrupted UKAD if they continued to proceed with legal action...
.. I guess that's one more reason to admire him... ![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)
Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
I personally had Fury-McDermott as a draw.
I did notice the commentary team on that fight really tried their best to talk down Fury's efforts and talk up McDermotts. McGuiggan was constantly yelling "brilliant shot from McDermott" whether he landed cleanly or on Fury's guard.
Having said that, the score card was way too wide from the referee, but then again he only has one angle.
It turned into a bit of a war with a lot of inside fighting, but Fury was doing the cleaner work, whereas McDermott was generally landing stronger shots.
Consider as well, that although McDermott did indeed out-land Fury by 10 punches across the course of the fight (114 to 110), Fury threw 226 more punches than McDermott in a 10 round fight.
I would say the early rounds McDermott won were more dominant than the one's Fury started picking up though. Yet, McDermott was the one turning his back on Fury by the end.

Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
I watched it without sound and thought McD won close but clear. I recall McD winning like around 4 of the first 5 or something, then Fury came on a bit, but McD still did enough second half to deserve the win. Big O scoring it 8-2 was downright rotten and stunk something shady.Finkel wrote: ↑18 Sep 2019, 14:07 I personally had Fury-McDermott as a draw.

Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
Fury could be the undisputed champ again.
He has the best boxing skills in the top four.
He easily beats Andy and Anthony. And if
he avoids getting clocked, he'll out point
Wilder. You could get clocked though.
That's a possible. He had to have an inner
battle to get up the last time. But he won.

He came back from way deeper in the hole, fought a beast without 2 warm up fights, and actually won
Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
He may be ugly and stupid, but he's making money and he is skilled.
He had a bad outing last time out, but he can box, he can box southpaw, he goes to the body well (usually not last time).
He does not process devastating power, but he's got a lot of good tools. Most big guys his size can't do a fraction of what he can do.

Because I got news for you I doubt Ruiz would win a round against Tyson Fury.
In fact, I figure Ruiz is getting ready to be the new version of Hasim Rahman or Ingemar Johansson. You've seen his big win, and you won't see another one is closer to reality than "he's gonna be beating all the top guys now"
Re: Tyson Fury is annoying as hell.
I can't see Ruiz standing a chance against either Fury or Wilder. Fury will keep him at bay with his length and Wilder will flatten him.gilgamesh wrote: ↑18 Sep 2019, 16:28When you say TFKoB? You mean Ruiz?ironbeard wrote: ↑18 Sep 2019, 09:06 Feel the hate in this thread.

One of them styles make fights kinda deals.
Wilder is a huge puncher, but wild and leaves himself open a lot. Fury is more defensive minded than offensive minded, and would be moving away from Ruiz, and just outboxing him in a dull ass fight all night. Wilder would go for the KO, but would leave himself vulnerable to counter shots while doing so.
Fury would never give Ruiz much to hit.
