Mezencev gets a chance to avenge himself against former Fury flop Shwarz.

Shwarz seems to have packed on the weight while the lighter 23 year old Mezencev has moved steadily at cruiserweight following his stoppage defeat in 2015.

Mezencev looked every bit his age in the first fight firing in bully combos and then running away until the much more seasoned-looking Shwarz patiently wore him down for a late stoppage. He moved down to Cruiser straight after while Shwarz compiled a dull record at heavy before getting the fight with Fury.


however, the rematch is nicely poised with both fighters at very different stages in their careers but at similar ages.
