Foreman's left hook on Adilson Rodriguez and the right hook for the last knockdown on Frazier in the first fight.
Tyson's straight right hand on Spinks and left hook off of Berbick's forehead.
Shavers: Too many to list. The shot he floored Lyle with was huge. The overhand right on Holmes was massive. Both got up to beat him though.

None sounded like that bomb blast of Wilder vs Breazeale to your point.

Tough to say. You know how it is. THe most recent 'blast' gets most of the attention. It was certainly one of the most devastating one punch KO's I've ever seen. I always wished I could hear the shot Marciano hit Walcott with.

It was a great shot but Dom did get to his feet, to me the most brutal are where the guys are actually laid out. Look at Jefferson KTFO Harris for example, or Tua-Ruiz for a combo.

It was good enough for Merchant to express his love for Derrick! That one was out of knowwhere.

If laid out is important. How about Wilder/Spzilka?

Ya that was great, I rate it better than the KO where the guy got to his feet at around 9.

Szpilka got brutally flattened again recently incidentally

Duran's shot on Ray Lampkins was another great KO. Geez. We can go on all year.

Wilder couldn't have hit Fury any harder.

Was Fury's recovery the best ever in boxing?

I couldn't disagree more. To take nothing away from Fury's awakening from the dead, those weren't the most solid Wilder shots.

I dunno he got Fury flush on the way down too, Wilder was convinced the fight was won.

Good shots, but not the absolute flush shots that decked Spzilka and Breazeale.

good point. sound television image, everything is at its best today. realy wounder how the fights would be today, with today sound engineering

how do u see wladimir k and joshua in comparison to wilders power. wlad vs ray austin, the left was crazy strong and wlads stronger arm was the right. also wilder realy does put his whole body weight into 1 punch, wild. wlad or josh fought more composed and rarly swung a wild hook with no thinking of defence, just swinging 1 hardcore hook. tyson for example was controlled but often he went also completly bezerk and swung just to end it. even so not so reckless like wilder.

Thanks Ronny.

Wlad would be a decent compare I think. Lewis too. Their technique was much better than Wilder's of course. I don't think Wlad had that same level of power that Wilder has. Lewis seemed to have it at times, but somehow not always. You can talk about free swinging, but Wilder's best KO punches have been the straight one two and not the wild windmill fits. He's been better the last several fights in not going that route. I don't think AJ is in the same league as those three. AJ has better skills, but not that thunderous power. Tyson was really so effective because of his speed and ability to deliver shots from so many odd combos and angles. Ask Marvis Frazier!

I think Wilder is up there with the hardest punchers in the history of the sport. It's an old tradition in boxing to always hate on the current crop of fighters. Jack Johnson was no James J Jeffries. Ali was no Marciano or Louis. Homes was no Ali. We always love to think the boxers of today aren't up to par with the boxers of the past. Let's fast forward 50-75 years here. I think the Wilder/Fury/Joshua/Ruiz era is gonna be looked back as a pretty damn great era, and I absolutely think Wilder's power will be compared to the likes of Foreman, Shavers, Tyson, etc.. I could see it now. Boxing fans in 2079 saying the heavyweight division sucks now. I bet they wish they were around in 2019-2020 when the HW division was so much better. This will always be a thing. When Wilder's long gone his punching power will absolutely be remembered as some of the greatest

In boxing today? I would say yes. Wilder has yet to use his other good attributes to his advantage still. Imagine him with a Larry Holmes type jab? His lack of bodywork is also something he could improve greatly on....especially against someone like Fury.

"Does Wilder have the most powerful punch in boxing"

Yes, I think he does. He is very unusual. He has skinny legs and a slim body so I think all his power comes from his very strong shoulders
