Kubrat Pulev vs. Mark De Mori - November 9, 2019 (cancelled)
Heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev, of Bulgaria, likely will face Australia’s Mark De Mori on Nov. 9 (ESPN+), sources with knowledge of the discussions for the fight, which is not yet signed, told ESPN. Pulev (27-1, 14 KOs), 38, who is in a mandatory position to challenge the winner of the Dec. 7 Andy Ruiz Jr.-Anthony Joshua rematch, is due to fight on the undercard of junior lightweight titlist Jamel Herring’s defense against Lamont Roach at Chukchansi Park in Fresno, California. De Mori (37-2-2, 33 KOs), 37, has won seven fights in a row since a first-round knockout loss to ex-titlist David Haye in 2016.

The combined record of Kub's last 3 opponents when he faced them was 76-4
Incredible opposition

Hmmm...maybe Pulev is the real bogey man of the HW's. I may not even watch the highlights.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑23 Sep 2019, 14:48 The combined record of Kub's last 3 opponents when he faced them was 76-4

I thought De Mori was going to actively compete vs David Haye in their 2016 match up. I'm not going to fall for that again! Fool me once shame you, fool me twice, shame on me.

Re: Kubrat Pulev vs. Mark De Mori - November 9, 2019
The interesting thing about Mark De Mori, is that his career path is the polar opposite of a prospect, because (barring one or two notable exceptions) the quality of his opposition just keeps getting worse with each fight he engages in.
It’s not simply a case of his opponents having so many losses on their records, it’s more about the sheer amount of consecutive defeats they’d suffered prior to facing De Mori also.
I’ve got to give him credit though, he does like to travel, since he’s recently competed in the likes of: Australia, Germany, Britain, America, New Zealand, Indonesia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria and Hungary.
He’s kind of like a winning journeyman, where the outcome of nearly all of his bouts are pretty much predetermined well before he even considers stepping foot inside the ring.

Worse than i thought but the minor scare against Dinu may have persuaded him not to face someone remotely competitive and risk losing out on the big money shot against Ruiz/AJ. I understand his reasoning and i think most of us would do the same as it's not like he's ducking anyone or padding his record for no reason. Probably won't watch regardless.

He lives in Croatia, in all those central Europe fights he was the A side (if we can say that there are any A/B fighters in this type of fights).Enlightened-One wrote: ↑23 Sep 2019, 15:42 The interesting thing about Mark De Mori, is that his career path is the polar opposite of a prospect, because (barring one or two notable exceptions) the quality of his opposition just keeps getting worse with each fight he engages in.

I don't think this is good fight for pulev, if he don't knock him out in 1st round, since David Haye did it . People will compare performance when opponents are same.

De Mori is a bodybuilder with zero skills, a boxing hobbyist. I have absolutely no idea how someone like that could ever get a fight vs a top 10 rated opponent. Boxing is a weird sport.
This guy has asthma, i wonder if they allow him to use the illegal substances due to his disease.

Terrible mismatch. Di Mori took a dive against Haye. Look at this sh it - Di Mori was just there to fall down. He didn't even try to throw a single real punch! Same thing with Haye's other phony "comeback" fight. I'm a big Pulev fan but this is a junk fight.

Not sure that was a dive as much as it was just Da' Mori sucking and getting KTFO
Re: Kubrat Pulev vs. Mark De Mori - November 9, 2019
De Mori will be out in before 4.
Feels more like a stay busy fight with no real stakes, cause if De Mori wins kudos to him. But not seen anything in him other then that paddad record.

He didn't even try. He threw one punch about 4 feet away. He was just there to find a soft spot on the floor. This Pulev fight shouldn't go more than about 30 seconds.
Kubret, buddy - don't kiss nobody ha ha!

He's had a lot of pro fights and has won almost all of them by knockouts. He knows how to throw a punch. He didn't even try. He took a dive.
