Has their ever been any other fights scored 119 - 105 except for Calzaghe Vs Lacy?

Most likely, allthough I cant remember them.

Most lopsided card I have seen was in Vic Dachinyan vs Alejandro Montiel: 100-83 | 100-84 | 100-88

Roy Jones apparently has 120 - 106 on two of his fights.

Too bad Joe got the point deduction otherwise he would of had a 15 points gap instead of 14 like Jones.

Wlad v Byrd 1 was very wide on the scorecards.... 120-106 on one of them i think

I know Leonard / Terry Norris was a complete shutout and i think one of them was 120 - 106

Tex Cobb lost all 15 rounds to Larry Holmes back in the 80's - 150-135.

One judge in Duran/Leonard 1 scored something like 10 rounds even!

Andrew "Six Heads" Lewis once beat Teddy Reid 120-102, 120-103, 119-105 for some sort of north american title back in 98.

Yes, wasn't it 147-147. I recall team Duran raising his man when the MC said "Duran 147" - as he'd already given the fight by the first judge.

When the MC said "Leonard 147" - they soon put Duran back down.

I take it that judge never worked another title fight. Ten rounds even, thats bad

i've recently been watching oscar de la hoya's career on dvd.

in one of his early fights he beat a guy on pts over 8 rds called mike grable. he wins 80-62, 80-63 and 80-64.

Mayweather was beating Corrales 90-79, 90-78, 89-79 after 9. He put Corrales down in the 10th twice, which if the fight continued, it at least would've been 100-86, 100-85, 99-86....14, 15, and 13 with 2 rounds to go. Floyd takes those last two 10-9, you're looking 120-104, 120-103, 119-104...I think, my math sucks.

Couple of strange ones for you from Jeff Fenech fights, when he fought Satoshi Shingaki he won by KO in 9, the scores at the time of the stoppage were 80-72 by 2 of the judges and an unbeliveable 80-80 by the 3rd , who just happened to have the same name as Shingaki's trainer, surely it couldn't be the same person??

And Jeff Fenech beat Tony Miller by the score 120-101 , thats pretty one-sided

Thats got to be a typo? Surely.

I asked this question before, but did the WBU ever instigate the 20 point round system they were discussing.

I'm sure they did breifly, I couldn't really see the reasoning though.

20-19 would represent a closer round than 10-9. A clear round won without deduction or point lost would probably be 20-18, where as it's 10-9 in 10 point must. It's basically the same as a half point system with easier math.

Thankyou very much for the info, I only remember it being highly embarrasing for the so called best fighter ever. bet the REAL SUGAR RAY WAS CHUCKLING..
