Re: Daniel Dubois v Ebenezer Tetteh
Tettee was still live and has a punchers chance. Dubois was probably just going to bundle him to the floor again rather than starch him. I thought it was one of the poorest stoppages I've seen. You simply can't be stopping fights at that point. If it was the other way around, Dubois would have been allowed to continue.

Yeah those legendary early Mike Tyson KOs people still watch to this day were really marred by him being allowed to lay them out in devastating fashion. Certainly not what I want to see when I tune in to watch the sport of Man-gets-punched-in-head.
Re: Daniel Dubois v Ebenezer Tetteh
A very predictable win, but DDD got the job done and looked good even if the opponent was poor.
A decent British title defence in the next 2 months would be a good idea.

Maybe I was feeling a bit sensitive having just watched Archie Sharp put his opponent to sleep from the 2nd row

There have been more than a fair few fatalities in boxing recently so I'd rather not see a defenceless man knocked out just to boost your highlight reel.overhand_right wrote: ↑28 Sep 2019, 18:35Yeah those legendary early Mike Tyson KOs people still watch to this day were really marred by him being allowed to lay them out in devastating fashion. x 2. Completely over matched opponent, who looked like he didn't want the fight to start. No point what so ever in that fight continuing, ewenhay wrote: ↑29 Sep 2019, 07:05There have been more than a fair few fatalities in boxing recently so I'd rather not see a defenceless man knocked out just to boost your highlight reel.overhand_right wrote: ↑28 Sep 2019, 18:35

Fine stoppage. As said above, unnecessary to see Dubois take a mans head off his shoulders when it’s a foregone conclusion.
There’ll be plenty of highlight reel KO’s in Dubois’ career anyway!
