Excellent fight, really enjoyed it. Spence just about deserved it with better quality work, but Porter was about the best I’ve seen him.

Shoutout for Lopez & Molina as well, 2 of my favourite ‘B’ level fighters, always put on a show. Molina looks done now, hope he retires.

Great fight, chuffed for Porter to do so well after all the Septics were going on about Spence like he's the Second Coming.

Spence has got some glaring technical faults—his jab's sloppy & he pulls straight back with his head up, which leaves him wide open to right hands. Seeing him outjabbed by a dude about half a foot shorter was quite funny at times, though.

& the ref should've clearly deducted points, even the TV replay caught eight or nine clear low blows from the house fighter!

He only got warned after a couple of low blows and that was round 4 I think. There many low blows that followed.

Great shout, they're very similar fighters/ careers, limited talent, massive cojones, both have given much to the sport, great guys.

Yeah, I was surprised he wasn't deducted a point.

Great fight. Had it 115-112 for Spence. Would be happy to see a rematch.

With a one point deduction in such a close fight going into the championship rounds who knows what happens. Just ask Chisora ala the second Whyte fight. But saying that was Porter really going to change his style even if he thought he was slightly ahead

Watching the fight i was saying. A good jab is needed here. Stats prove this. If spence jabbed more it wouldve been an easier fight imo

Punch stats tell some utter nonsense. Hazard had almost perfect score. I had only the last round different to him.

Absolute cracker of a fight especially down the stretch, some of the early rounds were a bit scrappy and both men struggled to land clean but as it got on it got a lot more action packed, I thought Spence deserved it, I had it 115-112 but nearly all the rounds were up for grabs, Spence was the better boxer when things were quieter but Porter was able to bully him when he started throwing his combinations, a lot were blocked by Spence but some got through and it had him backing up, Porter's an absolute unit, he performed a lot better than I thought he would, he's just relentless, how he got up from that left hand in the 11th i'll never know, that shot would've slept most Welters but Porter just looked disgusted with himself and tore right in about Spence it was class, I thought Spence looked better when he tried to fight it out with Porter myself, he did pick up a few early rounds by keeping it simple but I preferred it when he poured it on, he did give Porter openings but he was able to hold his own, great fight

Spence Jr has 2 fights max left at 147lb - anyone know what he rehydrated too?

I know when there is a unification the IBF doesn't enforce the 10lb hydration mandate

115-1112 Spence is the right score, even after 10 then Spence ending strong to take it.

All you guys saying it was a great fight must have a different view on boxing than I do.
I thought it was a messy brawl, which mostly had very little to do with the sweet science of boxing.
Spence foolishly got dragged into Porter's world, and could have won more rounds if he stuck to boxing Shawn.
It was one of the lowest quality title unification fights I have seen for years, outside the HW division.
There was plenty of action, but it wasn't boxing.

There was a point in the fight maybe just around halfway where I agreed with you but thought it ended up a quality scrap, some fights are great to watch 1st time around not knowing the result but you probably wouldnt watch again, this might be one of them

Errol couldn't stick to it, that's the thing. It was a great fight.

I sit somewhere in between those calling it fight of the year and the other end of the spectrum who didn't like it.

I'd say it was a very good fight. Spence is a superb boxer/puncher who can really fight when he has to.

Fair play to Porter who didn't stink the joint out and tried his best to win without clutching at every opportunity.

Can't fathom those he thought Porter came anywhere nearing winning. Spence landed way more quality punches and sealed the night off with the knock down in the 11th, buckling Porter with a beauty.
