To come up with that score, you had to give Porter what, about 8 or 9 out of the first 10 rounds? I thought it was a close but clear victory for Spence.
My score is nearly identical to Hazzard's one. I scored only the last round other way, for Porter
The scorecard for Porter was ridiculous.

The spots where I thought Porter was most effective were spurts in the middle of the bout where he would dance on the outside and pop in quickly and land clean shots. This approach looked to be a successful route for Porter had he continued to alternate it with his wild all out brawl. But most of the time he just looked like the Tazmanian Devil throwing everything he could hoping something would get through. Kudos to Spence for shown the ability to deal with that and continue to land clean shots.

Tell you what though, Porter has the biggest balls in the sport.

Sleep? That's already done. I couldn't possibly drink enough to come up with a stance as outlandish as yours. It's cool, I'm sure you're used to being called a moron by this point in your existence. :TU:
Oh, don't be so upset with someone not agreeing with you. Take another bottle and sit on it in order to be back on your place.
Yeah, very upset. just fornicating with you. A terrible card shouldn't affect your life.

Spence won that fight easily by points I had it 117-112.. Spence threw a lot of low blows, took two or three of heavy Porter shots on the chin, I don't think Porter is that big a puncher though, adequate puncher but not huge....

Spence didn't do almost anything until the 5th, then he won a couple of rounds, but Porter regrouped after that and began outfighting Spence, despite the fact, that Spence was fighting more confidently in the second half of the bout. Yet Spence didn't have a lot of really good moments, except the KD. Porter won, 116-111 on my card.
i didnt watch the fight, but i heard a lot say that porter was winning on rounds until the kd

Close fight but Spence won that. I was more pissed about low blows by Spence, some of those was really ugly

Porter just took them. That guy is just wow! Didn't blink at all.

Dirty fight by Spence. How could Reiss missed those blows?

Fight was close right up to the last 1/4. The KD sealed it for Spence.

I hate this word robbed..

It seems the majority, and by that, more than 90% have already agreed it was a close but clear win for Spence, the KD in round 11 and winning round 12 more or less secured it for Spence.

Props to Porter. He fought a great fight.

As for people saying it was a FOTY..

I enjoyed watching it live, but I think for me it would go in that category where the fight was enjoyable to watch live in the moment, however it's not a fight I would go back and voluntarily watch.

It has a controversy rating of 23% on EOTR, based on 20 fan scorecards.. 2 of the 20 had Porter winning, 1 had it evens due to a 10-10 round. The rest had Spence winning.

Also if it was THAT controversial, then you'd see websites going on about media and pundit scorecards etc.

The biggest controversy was the wide scorecard given for Porter.
