Toney vs Nunn.

Pernell Whitaker vs Diosbelys Hurtado (especially notable due to the lack of stoppage wins Whitaker had).

Balboa vs everyone.

Even as recent as last week. Archie Sharp against Declan Geraghty.

was being completely outboxed first three rounds until he KO'd him in the 4th.

Here's the last round - One eye shut, literally one punch from being stopped and the comeback of comebacks.

Wow! Never seen that one before. Epic. Thanks!
That ref needs the sack.

Off the top off my head on ones that havent been mentioned.

Ross Purrity against Vlad Klitschko .

Vlad a mile up points before running out of steam and being stopped late.

Kevin Mitchell against Ghislan Maduma

Down on all cards before pulling out the stoppage in the 11th.

I think Glen Catley had two on the spin.

Down on the cards against Markus Beyer before pulling out the stoppage in the last round,

Then he got stopped in last round against Dingan Thobela after being well ahead.

Great call on Whitaker. Maybe the truest sign if how great he was.

Although only a few rounds I remember Nigel Benn looking for all the world that he was about to be stopped before knocking out Anthony Logan and another when Danny Williams dislocated his shoulder and kod Mark Potter

"Irish" Micky Ward pulled out a beautiful left hook to the liver to unhinge the previously unbeaten Alfonso Sanchez in seven rounds in Las Vegas in 1997. Sanchez had done everything right up to that body shot.

Robbie Davies Jr in his defeat to the Pole was something like 9 points up going into the last.

I was fortunate enough to notice he got seriously buzzed just as the 11th round ended and banged £100 on the pole.

Not sure whether they are what you are looking for (as they are less the prolonged beatings and more the "how'd he win that?" turn around but

Nice ones, the Hong fight is crazy, these days no chance an away fighter down 4 times in a round would be allowed to continue

Not seen the fight, and it was a TKO but Yuki Beppu stopped Ryota Yada on Sunday in round 10, down 80-85 on the cards, and he'd been dropped 5 times earlier in the fight (had scored a knock down himself even earlier).

Really hoping it was filmed by someone as that sounds fornicating crazy

Remember Kennedy McKinney knocking Junior Jones out on a Naz undercard many a year ago. McKinney was getting a bit of a beating and had been down then pulled it out the bag.

Tommy Coyle vs Brizuela. I don’t know what the score cards were going in to the 12th round, but I’m pretty sure Coyle was behind in a barnstormer of a bout. Coyle had been decked several times and had points deduction also. Mind you, so had his opponent.
