Is it to late to start boxing at 28yo.

Post by wally »

Ive always had interest in boxing but never really got involved in it.I did tae kwon do in my early 20's.I did enter some tournaments and was very successful.I consider myself fit and athletic. The thing is, i was thinking of doing boxing and maybe entering a few competitions. But im 28 years old.Is it too late to start. I dont expect to enter competions straight away.I do plan on training and when im ready i will compete.I work fulltime,am 6"1,weight 83 kg.

What do you guys think? If i put my mind to it,can I start boxing?

Of course you have over 5 years left as an Amateur and you can probaly have a couple bouts by Christmas.

Dont waste any time thinking about it, join your local club!
