Nothing to watch again on a Saturday night !

Post by rd350lc »

Said a while back I thought British boxing was on a bit of a downturn and I understand these things go in cycles and we'd had some golden years recently ,but again another Saturday Evening with no UK boxing to watch ! I'm starting to lose interest in the sport tbh .

Its a pity that boxing has gone this way really. Getting all 'top acts' to appear on PPV in one show rather than having most of the events as main events on various shows. I actually looked to see if there was anything worth searching for live on FB tonight as there is a few shows on, but, to be honest all the shows are really poor with mostly novice boxers appearing.

This is what happens when all top boxers are with one promoter, there is bugger all on worth watching or attending live.

Showtime is having Boxing tonight. Main Event was supposed to be Shields, but now I guess it's men, but yeah young dudes that are just trying to make a name for themselves.

GGG is fighting tonight I think, but I don't have DAZN.

I definitely miss Boxing coming on goddamn TV.

When events like Whyte v Rivas are PPV, you know the game is up for a while.

Tis true , just so many area / British title fights that could be made and a good watch and for whatever reason it just isn't happening .

 Classic.
To be fair, I actually enjoyed the fight, and the televised card.
