Billy Joe Saunders prediction: Golovkin-Derevyanchenko going to be a grueling fight that takes a lot away from GGG!

Post by Enlightened-One »

Two weeks ago, Billy Joe Saunders made the following startlingly-accurate prediction about the outcome of the Golovkin-Derevyanchenko fight:

“I think it’s going to be a gruelling fight for both. I think it’s going to take a lot away from Golovkin in life, like battery life, that fight. I think Golovkin is going to win.”

Billy Joe clearly made the right call when he predicted the outcome of the Gennadiy’s fight against Derevyanchenko, but I’m wondering if he's also correct about the gruelling nature of the bout permanently taking something away from GGG?

Do you think he’ll have enough heart, desire and ambition to once again raise his game to battle tooth and nail against the next hardnosed contender he faces, such as an opponent of a similar ilk to the likes of Sergiy Derevyanchenko or Danny Jacobs?

No more than the two Canelo fights. Every tough fight takes a toll.
