Hmmm. RingTV posted just 20 mins ago saying According to PBC spokesman Tim Smith, “The injuries were not that serious, and non-life threatening.”. Maybe they’re all just guessing.

Re: Spence in serious condition
If dude got ejected from a car looking like that at high speeds, it's amazing if he didn't have serious injuries. Maybe he is made of iron or something.
Re: Spence in serious condition
It seems clear at this point that he'll live from his injuries, but how well he'll be able to recover and carry on with his career is anyone's guess.
I can't imagine he doesn't have some serious broken bones and sh*t at the very least.

Ironically not wearing his seat belt might have saved his life.

If that was it the crash looks bad, I hope he's ok.
Re: Spence in serious condition
He was ejected and landed on wet grass. Probably saved not only his life but his career.

My mom was at the same hospital for 8 weeks five years ago. It's in the hood but much better care than Baylor uptown. Looks like his career isn't remotely in jeopardy.

I've seen conflicting reports. Some say he just has busted teeth. If it's no worse than needing a new grill then he is so lucky. Hopefully he learned his lesson.

Re: Spence in serious condition
I was just looking on Twitter - 1 recent tweet had him awake & responsive, another tweet posted exactly the same time had him in critical condition. Not worth speculating until anything is confirmed, seems clear it’s all rumours & guesswork at the moment.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 16:22 I've seen conflicting reports. I talked to someone fairly close to the situation and they said he's fine.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 16:26I was just looking on Twitter - 1 recent tweet had him awake & responsive, another tweet posted exactly the same time had him in critical condition. Re: Spence in serious condition
Who is that? Can they spill PBC dirt for us ?
Re: Spence in serious condition
Latest is that he'll make a full recovery and resume his career. Hopefully, this is the case.
Spence was rushed to Methodist Hospital in Dallas, where he was joined by his parents. He underwent intensive care, and it appears the injuries he suffered may not threaten his boxing career. - RingTV

One of my favorite fighters. I'm praying for a quick and total recovery for Errol.
Re: Spence in serious condition
All the best to Spence in recovery. He’s a very talented boxer. I was shocked to wake up to this news, glad he seems to be doing well. However disappointing that this was allegedly due to reckless driving.

Man. That looks absolutely horrifying

Let’s hope his career is still a go. He would be a huge loss for boxing. Huge loss.
Re: Spence in serious condition
Critical is worse than serious. You can also be 'guarded;' 'stable' etc while being in ICU. Seems to me the seconds out report was premature as your contact and some other sites reported much less serious condition. Being in ICU is just a normal protocol after a bad accident. Happy he's going to be fine.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 18:11I meant to ask earlier, I didn't even know serious was a term for ICU? I thought it was assumed that everything there was serious.

Stable and critical are what I was aware of. Thought serious was just being admitted to ICU. All that matters is he recovers.oogiebe wrote: ↑10 Oct 2019, 18:13Critical is worse than serious.
