Either way there ain’t gonna be no final bell, very interesting, could go either way, hope Price can do it,

Chis was short circuited brutally not long ago, Price's best hope is that his resistance is gone
Re: Derek Chisora vs. David Price - 26 October 2019
Everyone loves a David Price fight
He'll probably get KO'd but he's got a puncher's chance against everyone.

Wot you talking about mate, he overcame the odds to stop Dave Allen
Re: Derek Chisora vs. David Price - 26 October 2019
When the best kid you’ve stopped is Sam Sexton and you’ve been at it a decade you’re probably not that much of a puncher. Is Prices punching power a bit of an urban legend?

Gave counts to Pov, Hammer, and Thompson too, and not like he was landing loads in those. He obviously can punch, but he's not keeping them down at higher levels.

Aye I appreciate that. He is clearly heavy handed but many make out he has elite level power and the evidence simply doesn’t back that up.
Even if he is heavy handed I don’t think he could be described as a good finisher with it. Ultimately he got sparked in all of those fights. I don’t think he’s stopped anyone that I wouldn’t expect another half dozen British heavies to stop

He's never kept anyone down at a high level,i like Pricey and would love him to win but he doesn't commit to throwing the big shots anymore.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑11 Oct 2019, 19:20 Gave counts to Pov, Hammer, and Thompson too, and not like he was landing loads in those. Re: Derek Chisora vs. David Price - 26 October 2019
It's what goes on between the ears that wears Pricey out. When in worry mode his battery fades considerably quicker. If Dereck cuts the ring off and moves his feet quickly, that mental pressure alone should be enough.
Re: Derek Chisora vs. David Price - 26 October 2019
No it's not.
Price got "first time" stoppages in the Olympics, a string of early one-punch KOs, pole-axed TTTT and even had Pov hurt. He's got an iffy chin at area-level, and amateur fitness levels. Give him his one world class attribute power.
Normally, "puncher's chance" means "no chance" but, if Del Boy turns up lethargic and easy to hit - as he sometimes does - does anyone doubt that Price will KO him ?

Price's power has always been world class, he's just too jumpy, nervous and generally gun-shy to "pull the trigger" these days.
It's why he performs better when he adpots the "I've already lost by KO, so just go for it" mentality.

Another glass jaw prey for Chisora.
Re: Derek Chisora vs. David Price - 26 October 2019
Yeah, that is something that I think people are looking past...... Price has the power but critically, Chis chin might not be what it was.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑11 Oct 2019, 17:10 Chis was short circuited brutally not long ago, Price's best hope is that his resistance is gone
I still think Chis by Early / Mid KO - but Chis can be hit and hurt..... well actually he is quite strange in his chin as he doesn't often get hurt - he is either not budging or gets KO'd clean - the two times he has been severely hurt, he's been clean KO'd.
Re: Derek Chisora vs. David Price - 26 October 2019
Chisora will destroy Price, who needs to retire.

Price needs to catch chisora early to discourage his advances. Problem is, price takes 4/5 rounds to throw a right hand these days

Pricie was lookin good at the open workout.
I will be surprised if he is having a late career resurgance, but stranger things have happened.
I actually like this matchup better than DelBoy Vs Parker.
No clue who wins this, I am keen to watch and find out
