He's probably a fan. Fox is also involved in the wilder ppv. Getting more exposure is good business.gilgamesh wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 09:45I doubt he'd be doing it if he wasn't.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 08:27
Not a chance. He was money may weather. It was part of the sell. I doubt fury is getting a million.

Unlike Mike Tyson, Brock Lesnar and Floyd Mayweather Jr., Tyson Fury isn’t a retired fighter. And suffering an injury presents a greater risk financial risk to the Brit than it would for the aforementioned retirees. The Gypsy King could miss out on huge paydays if he were to suffer an injury during the spectacle.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 08:26 Lesnar makes 12 million a year and he was a much bigger draw in the UFC than fury is in boxing. It's wrestling, it doesn't have to be real.
And whilst Brock Lesnar used to be a big-name PPV fighter within the UFC, that majority of the revenue stream for that organisation was sourced almost exclusively from the American market.
In stark contrast, the WWE network is broadcast to 229 countries across the globe. And perhaps the McMahon’s have done their research and believe that Tyson Fury has crossover appeal that is capable of increasing their audience in territories outside of America.
Regardless of whether the $15m payday figure being true or not, Tyson Fury is definitely being paid handsomely, perhaps even grotesquely overpaid, for his brief stint in the WWE.

It's 1 match. He's not gonna get injured. I'll be curious to know if he's actually capable of working a match that entertains WWE fans. That's the big question for me about it.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 10:04Unlike Mike Tyson, Brock Lesnar and Floyd Mayweather Jr., Tyson Fury isn’t a retired fighter. It will be a pity, if Fury wastes his boxing career because of WWE. However, not for Fury himself, as he obviously goes for the bigger payday.

He got 12 for Wallin. And it has already been announced, that he'll get 15 million for the WWE circus against that juiced bearded fella.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 12:41I think he got that, or close to it, for wallin and he's not getting anywhere near 15 million for this.

Zero chance he's getting 15 million. You actually believe they're going to pay fury more for a weeks work than lesnars yearly salary? LolDrDuke wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 13:20He got 12 for Wallin. Which one is the juiced bearded fella? Both isn’t it?DrDuke wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 13:20He got 12 for Wallin. And it has already been announced, that he'll get 15 million for the WWE circus against that juiced bearded fella.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑16 Oct 2019, 12:41

Fury isn’t getting paid anywhere near what the rumours are saying! For wrestling or boxing
