I didnt see the fight.
So sad.
Was there any giveaway to the damage he was receiving, should there have been an earlier stoppage?

Terrible news, RIP.
Re: RIP Patrick Day
Soundbite condolences. All these individuals and organisations making money off the back of fighters will keep on doing it, keep on stirring the 'beef' etc. We'll keep watching. The only people that will really give a toss are the handful of close family around his casket and the guy he shared the ring with.

Re: RIP Patrick Day
4 deaths in 3 months, horrible time for the sport in that regard, RIP
What annoys me is the hypocrisy, not so much in here, 99% of posters on boxrec are sensible even if they like to take the piss a little which is fine but Twitter is another thing altogether, guys tweeting RIP one minute then slaughtering fighters the next, even worse when they feel the need to tag the fighter in the tweet, no need for that,

Re: RIP Patrick Day
I was listening to the radio today, while someone was explaining the physical impact of a punch to the head.
My 12 year old will soon have this first medical..........It really got me thinking......

Tragic scenario once again .
These deaths always raise a lot of questions but nobody can really come up with enough answers .
