Josh Kelly vs. Ray Robinson II - TBA

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

This card is expected to be shown on Sky Box Office pay-per-view in the UK. There will be a lot of disappointed boxing fans after they learn that they’ll need to pay to see this card, but there’s several good fights. Prograis-Taylor, Parker-Chisora and Kelly-Robinson all promise to be entertaining from start to finish.

The unbeaten #12 WBA welterweight contender Josh Kelly (9-0-1, 6 KOs) will be facing #15 WBC Ray Robinson (24-3-2, 12 KOs) in a rematch. The two fought to a 10 round draw on June 1 on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. at Madison Square Garden in New York. 2016 Olympian Kelly looked poor in getting a draw in a fight that a lot of boxing fan thought he lost.

I though Kelly looked very good in the early rounds in the first fight, but seemed to fade badly and allowed Robinson back into the fight.

The draw was probably a fair result, but if Kelly can improve his stamina he should win the rematch comfortably.

As long as he doesn't think he's RJJ in the rematch, he moight be okay.

It's a rematch that needs to happen.

Hopefully he'll learn his lesson, but it's seeming less likely he will.

I bet Josh jerks off to his own video of himself throwing sextuple left hooks and prancing around the ring with his hands low. Oh Josh, you're so special, you're like a white chocolate prime Roy Jones Josh. So much flash and pzazz.

Good if they take the rematch but I just don’t see Kelly amounting to true world class in the end. More flash than substance I think but we’ll see

He’s talented but nowhere near as good as he thinks, I’m not sure anyone is as good as Kelly thinks he is!

i think josh has big potential to be a champion , i think him not getting the decision in the last fight will severe him well, needs to cut the nonsense, he is a pro boxer , hurt him not fancy crap , i think kelly will be a world champ, he is a tough lad, deffo has nastiness to him and is great boxer , but he is young in the head , the thing is you can change that show boating in to hurtfulness that is what he needs to do , dont mug the oppo of hurt them instead

Purse bids were this week for Kelly v Avanesyan. That looks next fight - that’ll be real test for Kelly.
