Sugar Ray's Golden Gloves

I don't remember if I asked before,but does anyone remember this show from the 80's? Amateur teams competed against teams from other states with Sugar Ray commentating I think.A few top fighters were featured.

Yes, I remember that show back in 1982 on NBC.

I also remember the show he hosted "Kids Are People, Too"

i remember..we got it down in australia back in 1984...still remember some of the fighters..shelton leblanc, timmy rabon, roman george, jesse benavidez, tony romero, tony pruitt, eric ferguson,..louisianna had the best team..surprised that years later none of them became champions and household names..there were some good fighters..

Actually, Jesse Benavides did win a WBO world title, think he lost it in his first defense IIRC.
