All cards suck. It was a razor close fight. Only the last two rounds were dominated by a one of the competitors. I had Beterbiev up by a single point after the 9th.

Crap cards going into that 10th.

Two judges had Nail ahead. I don’t see it. It wasn’t close by that round IMO. They were looking to screw Bert. Good thing he finished it. Although the KD’s would have helped had the fight continued.

wtf....

How in god's name could anyone gave the Nail in front!? That fight was a one-sided beat down. Maybe too many judges just don't see body punching. Beterbiev lit Gvo's body up literally every round from 2 onwards.

Alarm failed me last night but thankfully avoided the result and got a cracking YouTube video of the full fight this morning - Beterbiev is a bad man! Decent start from OG but you could see Beterbiev was constantly making him work while landing the more telling, powerful shots (nice body work too). Good unification :TU:

I had Gvosdyk up at the time of the stoppage. I was watching the fight on mute so not influenced by the commentary> Gvosdyk was having rough patches but doing cleaner work for me. The punches didn't have the effect on Beterviev that I thought they would. Beterbiev clearly took over in the last couple of rounds and it was a matter of time from there. Bad loss for Gvosdyk. Imagine if Canelo beats Kovalev then beats Beterbiev in a unification. That achievement would make him one of the greatest fighters of all time.

Excellent body work from Beterbiev. Brutal.

How would Bivol deal with him? Would love to see Canelo face him instead of Kovaknacker

This guy's on another planet, what an embarrassing post. Canelo isn't beating Beterbiev ffs.

Not watched the whole fight yet but seen the finish, Beterbiev has some power jeez, even the clubbing shots on the inside that most guys throw when in a clinch do real damage

Surprised you didn't stay up for this one mate: was well worth it! I still can't believe how this one went under the radar really... especially with Arum hyping it as the most even matchup he's ever signed.... maybe have it on a Saturday with international TV coverage then you old duff!

Props to the Nail as well, he's tough as.... um... nails. The body shots he absorbed would've folded a gorilla.

I am intrigued as to how people judge a round, I felt Beterbiev was clearly ahead but I think some people judge a round based on a 20-30second flurry

Cudnt agree more Arthur won virtually evry round!!!!!!!!!
I read a scorecard which had Nail win round 1, and Bert winning the rest.

Ward gave Nail rd1, then Bert the next 5 rounds.
Not sure after that.

I find it hard to see having Gvo in front. I had it 6-3 Bert, but can see 5-4, but it gets hard for me to go for 5-4 Gvo, let alone 6-3 like one judge had.

Gvozdyk started good, I gave him the 1st round. A lot gave it to Bert, probably with the impression caused by the ending of the round, that moment, when Gvozdyk was floored and KD was counted. That moment probably affected Gvozdyk himself, he was worse in the 2nd. Then it was an absolutely even competition with nearly alternating scores round by round. I actually had it even after the 8th. Bert took over afterwards.

Gvosdyk was outboxing him. Most people actually had Gvosdyk ahead at the time of the stoppage. For all your arrogance, you're actually in the minority.
