Hughie showed he lacks heart. He fights not to lose rather than fighting to win. A few times when Povetkin was coming in Hughie could have set up counters and committed to it but he was too concerned with not being hit himself instead of trying to win the fight. Tyson Fury being rewarded for doing sweet f*ck all against Klitschko all night probably doomed Hughie because Hughie tried to nick wins with a dismal negative showing as Tyson did that night and it never worked out for Hughie.

Well put , he almost knows he is out of his depth a bit in these big fights.

Both turned pro young, both tall and skilful, and touted as prospects. Both show flashes of potential but ultimately fail to deliver.
No comparison between Bugner and Hughie. Bugner was a terrific fighter who gave some of the best all time a run. Hughie not near his league.

He didn't learn from Parker or Pulev (i.e. throw some punches) so it's unlikely he'd learn from Povetkin defeat. Rematch is pointless

Fury needs to fight at a lower level. His best win is still Sexton. Bakole would be a winnable match.

Hughie Fury loses to Povetkin.

People on this forum - I still think Hughie could beat Povetkin.
