...as a boxer, Wilder would probably look like one trick pony against Usyk which might be enough though to take Usyk out..

If Usyk can stay away from Wilder’s right and he doesn’t get caught; he can school him.

Wilder’s jab isn’t very good but his size and underrated speed might be too much for a 6’3 15st Usyk.

It is a pick’em but you’d have to put Wilder as favourite. That said, he might get his clock cleaned by Ortiz beforehand.

I think we have seen guys with basic boxing fundamentals school Wilder, heck, even Washington was for the first few rounds

It's just that eventually they all get caught with the right hand, even Fury, who was putting on a masterclass..
So obviously Loma is right, it's just that school gets out early when Wilder eventually lands.

Usyk is definitely a much more skilled and talented fighter. It’s just a matter of weather or not he can take Wilder’s punches. If there’s one thing Deontay has is power and lots of it. I guess it’ll be interesting to see how Usyk’s chin holds up at heavy.

He'll win every round he doesn't take that fight ending right hand in. A fight with Wilder is a tight rope act. Winning rounds against him isn't that hard. Everybody does that. The hard part is making it to the end with all those rounds in the bank.

Loma may be right but his opinion is biased. Loma & Usyk are not only both Ukrainians but also are personal friends. It would be a real surprise if Loma said he expected Wilder to beat Usyk!!

It's like Terence Crawford saying Shakur Stevenson would beat Oscar Valdez if Oscar hadnt moved up to 130. He may be right but he's got a pro-Stevenson bias because he & Shakur are personal friends.

It's definitely a fight I would love to see. One thing Usyk has over Fury is stamina, Fury didn't have it in the tank to maintain that high level of concentration over 12. But I doubt very much Usyk has Fury's chin.

Everyone has wrote it that you can outbox Wilder easy, then again Wilder don't care about winning rounds only to take you out.

Wilder is fast and economical with his punches so no easy work for anyone who faces him. Cause, he might go full animal if they get into the 12th round and Usyk is in the lead.

Would love to see them fight. Im holding Wilder as a favorite now over Usyk. He is more skilled then what he gets credit for.

I voted undecided. I’m confident Usyk would outbox Wilder, but could he really go 12 Rounds without getting hit by some of those gigantic bombs? To me Usyk is a big question mark at heavyweight. My biggest guess is his run is similar to that of Tomasz Adamek’s, but I don’t say that with too much confidence. Wilder on the other hand, with his monstrous power and dynamite in his hands, I give him at the very least a 35% chance against every boxer in human history. Even the absolute worst match ups out there for him on paper, I still think he has atleast a 35% chance in my book. Anyone gets caught flush by a few of his shots they’re done. In all of boxing’s fantasy match ups, Nobody with a questionable chin beats Wilder. . . Usyk vs. Wilder would be fun. I’d love to see it

I think Loma and most of the crowd here has this one right. Usyk wins pretty much every second of a fight with Wilder, unless and until he gets utterly knocked senseless.

Thanks for the confirmation. I didnt see him say that, so I was unaware that Usyk was actually with him when he said it.
