yuck that. that's not wear & tear when bits of the cushioning come falling out when u turn the glove. that glove was messed with.
only question is before or after fury using them.
again, if he knowingly sparred with those, i lost all respect for him and won't watch no fight of his ever again.
if he really sparred with those tampered with shit ass gloves he lost all credibility as a so called "fighting man". it's just inexcusable.
and i really liked the guy.
the accusations are out and they are the fornicating worst. they have to come forward and explain what happened there.
Allegations Fury's sparring gloves were tampered with in camp..

I think that could easily be wear and tear. Problems arise more often when people wear the same gloves for sparring as they do bag work.
I remember using sparring gloves for bag work and they ended up just like those ones in the video. I had another pair for sparring but not everybody does.

Same, I've experienced padding falling out of worn gym gloves. They were old like. But I guess even if you are loaded it seems a bit extravagant to change your gloves all that often.JimStone wrote: ↑23 Oct 2019, 08:16 I think that could easily be wear and tear. Any in the professional game on here fancy sharing how often they change their gloves, or is it literally based on when they feel worn out?
I don't know if he did or didn't do it, but one reason for it could be for stories to get out about how hard he hits. This would potentially give him a tactical advantage over the other camp. At the very least it could probably help sell the fight

Wouldn't tampering with gloves, as asserted by this 'sparring partner,' be a risk to a fighter's hands? I think it's all attention seeking. Can't see Fury's camp taking any such risk either way.

I am not a fan of Tyson Fury in any way, the boxer or the man, however I am reluctant to believe this accusation.
Gloves have a relatively short life when being used properly, I imagine that the gloves are just past their best.
Hand protection is valuable and the idea that it was to give some kind of confidence boost is a bizarre gamble. When he hits someone with 10oz gloves on and they don't drop it could easily have the opposite effect.
