Chris Eubank jr v Matvey Korobov

Post by MasterG »

Jr will make his US debut in Brooklyn on December 7th.

Fight for Intrim WBA Middleweight title

My opinion is that jr will be fighting an old slow boxer and should stop him inside 4 or 5 rounds

Be a good week to spend in NYC for that card and then Top Rank big card following week if you got the cash. As for Eubank good to see him back. Always a good watch.

Glad he finally has a fight scheduled, against a solid opponent too.

Korobov is the superior boxer of the two, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Eubank out work him over 12.

CEJ will certainly win, Korobov was flattered by the Charlo fight

For all the prattling on that Eubank does this is shite. Korobov hasn’t had a win of any note in over five years and will be 37 in January. Never been a world champion and never will be.

Eubank really is a spanner - every touted meaningful win has been against guys well, well past their best and yet listening to his shite you’d think he’s the second coming. The lads a gobshite

I did look at Korobov record earlier and think typical boxing gets some sort of world title fight and not had a win in nearly 2 years. Probably be like the Degale fight.

Is this a history-maker for Jr? Has any other man unified the IBO and WBA Interim titles to become a two-time world champ?

Korobov is a good enough boxer technically to cause Eubank problems.
I’d expect Eubank to outwork him though and win a decision around the 117-111, 116-112 mark.

I'd rather this than him do what too many world class boxers are doing and remain inactive.

Needs a more meaningful fight soon after, if he beats Korobov.
