Has anybody watched his fights? What do you think? Steve Kim's comments are impressive:

Yeah, I think Kim's praise is premature. Last December, Bohachuk took a few serious punches from a boxer with a negative record and got rocked by him.

His hands look nice and fluid, and with some pop, but I have seen him and he does get hit and I'm not sure on the chin. Has a bit of a gawkyness to him too. That's why it needs more of a test to see if he adapts or raises his level with the opposition.

The last time Beterbiev fought somebody with a negative record was in 2014. Who rocked him then? Besides, Beterbiev clearly hits much harder.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑28 Oct 2019, 16:30So did beterbievboxing_rocks wrote: ↑28 Oct 2019, 16:26

I saw last three fights. And saw two early fights against Pedroso and Lucius Johnson.
Talented guy.Hit hard with both hands. For me his style similar on young Fernando Vargas.
I want see him against good opponent.

Watch Carlos Garcia Hernandez fight. Hernandez spent most of the time standing right in front of him covered up, and he couldn't take him out for a few rounds being hit himself. Beterbiev would take somebody with such defense out in 30 seconds.

Re: Serhii Bohachuk (16-0,16 KO) win in this Sunday
when can we expect to see Bohachuk on regular ESPN or Fox?
the last guy i remember to run up a KO ratio like that was Antwun Echols back in the
old USA Tuesday Night Fights era. I miss them days. They did a lot of hoket stuff like that
round robin heavy tournament at Casino Magic down in Biloxi. I liked Shawn Ogrady and
Al Michael's brother.

He's a beast.. Arguably the best prospect in any weight division currently.
There's a lot of top ex soviet union prospeccts coming up at 154 (Bohachuk, Akhmedov, Oganesyan, Murtzaliev, Magomedov, Baysangurov, Amarkhanyan, Daranyi Jr etc ) plus other top prospects like Sergio Garcia, Cissokho etc, which is good as it's a weak division and needs new blood badly.
