I didn't think Thomas had peaked yet in their first fight. A peak Thomas wins.

Probably Thomas. I remember scoring their first fight 5-4-1 in favor of Coetzee, but thinking that Gerrie looked winded in the last rounds. My impression was that if the bout had been scheduled for 12 rounds, then Thomas would have finished Gerrie off.

So, my guess is that Thomas would have beaten Coetzee in any kind of fight scheduled for more than ten rounds.
