Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
Duh, though this is more of a deflated look, like he's lost a bunch fast. It's just a visual thing
Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
He's probably wanting to be faster.
He knows he's got the power.
Still ages to the fight. People reading too much into things at this stage

Dude is obviously saggy. Reading into things is guessing at the effects and the motivations

Lol not at all. He already looked a mess and still won. It's just a visual thing. I never said it would make him any less effective. He can't win with some people though.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑01 Nov 2019, 12:03Lol not at all. He already looked a mess and still won. It's just a visual thing. I never said it would make him any less effective. Strange posting Ewey
Lots of people said he was too fat last time and it was a disgrace Joshua losing to a guy in that kind of shape. And how embarrassing it was for them that the heavyweight champion looks so out of shape.
Then he loses some weight and people now say his weight loss is a bad thing.
He's still a big lad.

Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
We'll have to see the effects of weight loss on his performance, it could well be a good thing and make him even better. Bizarre that you think calling him saggy is wishful thinking
Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
I'm assuming you are wanting Joshua to win

Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
I don't take Andy's sagginess as something negative. It was just a comment about how he looks. He looked bad the first time and still won.
Believe it or not Ewey, not everything is some wishful thinking, Josh is gonna win this time spin.

You're due a correct prediction in a 50/50 fight. It's been a while

Lol, from the guy going on about people reading too much into things, you really over read a little remark about sagginess,I I said he was saggy, not that he's now given the fight away to AJ and will be total shite
My predictions aren't bad, me and my team are working on smoothing out some seems and will be back stronger than ever

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez
Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
Points or ko?
I'm thinking Alvarez gets the decision on points.
Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
Ruiz's trainer says he's down 30 LBs. Not sure how heavy he was when he entered camp.

Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
My head tells me points, since Canelo is really at most a cumulative puncher vs good opponents even at 154, and Kov for all the body shot talk has never even been down to the body, but the flood of 'Canelo KO' predictions is getting at me and got me feeling he might do it?
Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
Muscle weighs more than fat. So even though his shape may be smaller, he might not be that much lighter. Saying that, I suspect from the pictures, his weight will have to be more than 20 pounds lighter.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑01 Nov 2019, 06:11 Andy Ruiz Jr displaying his incredible weight loss after a training session with Michael Hunter:
To give this photo some perspective, Michael Hunter is a natural cruiserweight that chooses to compete at 215lbs, whereas Andy Ruiz Jr. was about 270lbs when he fought AJ.
The Mexican-American claims that he's only planning to lose 10lbs, but he appears to have shifted far more weight than that.

His trainer said he's lost 30 LBS from the start of camp.KiwiRider wrote: ↑01 Nov 2019, 16:45Muscle weighs more than fat. So even though his shape may be smaller, he might not be that much lighter. Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
Yeah, I've heard he entered camp around 285. He certainly looked even more bloated than during the AJ fight.

Re: Andy Ruiz Poll
Good point!! Ruiz doesnt want to lose TOO much weight if he wants to retain the power that floored AJ last time. I think Andy's only legit chance to win the rematch is by KO. AJ will be fighting much more cautiously than last time so I cant see Ruiz outpointing Joshua.KiwiRider wrote: ↑01 Nov 2019, 16:45Muscle weighs more than fat. This whole weight thing (Ruiz OR AJ for that matter) is just promoters trying to create more intrigue. Result will be the same.Best Coast wrote: ↑01 Nov 2019, 20:28Good point!! The late notice was Andy's main advantage. AJ and his team know how to prepare for opponents. His two late notice replacements ( Takem and Ruiez) gave him more problems than they should have.
AJ got caught out by Andy, I don't think it will happen twice.

Fair view Kiwi. I'm just referring to the weight frenzy with regards to the rematch.KiwiRider wrote: ↑01 Nov 2019, 22:15I disagree Oggie.
