Chavez declined to submit to a random drug test last week when a tester from the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association showed up at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California, where Chavez has been training under the tutelage of Freddie Roach, to collect a sample and was denied. VADA reported the incident to the Nevada commission and Chavez was issued a suspension.
He'll have to appear before the commission to explain.
Silly bvstard said the tester came to the gym and was acting angry and wouldn't show ID. I have my doubts.

Re: Chavez JR suspended by NSAC.
If Chavez Jr. has witnesses for the drug testers conduct, then the Mexican should escape punishment.
If he hasn’t, he’ll face a lengthy ban.

Good news. Let Jacobs face Uzcategui or Anthony Dirrell for his introduction.

A long time ago I case managed offenders in the community - a typical condition on their orders was drug testing. Many avoided drug testing, the excuses were numerous. Those that tested positive, the excuses were numerous. One of them even said that I had proved the positive sample lol.
Fact is Chavez jr avoided the test, his excuse seems implausible.
