Nicaraguan Ricardo Mayorga has been approached for a co-feature slot.

A UK foe is expected face Mayorga, who last fought in April of this year. The 46 year-old has lost his last three bouts and should be no match for any currently active British fighter.

Mayorga is simply a name to bolster the card, which will shortly begin selling tickets for what is set to be a sell-out event.

Tommy Jacobs will get the nod for this if Ricardo Mayorga appears.

No, BoxRec consider BIBA to be unlicensed boxing

Hilarious, I wouldn't watch this on principle if it was free.

I'll watch it on the basis of curiosity and to convince myself that the fight was genuine. But only if I locate a free stream via some medium or other. I certainly won't pay for this.

In all honesty what idiot would pay a grand to sit through this card at a grand a seat? I think maybe really fan boys of the old Nigel Benn that have a fair few quid to waste might. Those who knew him around Essex.

It's very hard to believe the average boxing fan will stump up that amount of money to watch this full bill. Now I'm not knocking any of the undercard boxers as this will possibly be their biggest earner under the biba banner and fair enough that's good for them. But surely the most ticket buyers are curiosity seekers trying to relive Benn in the 90s.

I kinda hope Benn is stopped round one with a body shot so, 1 - he doesn't take a damaging head shot, 2 - enough of a sign to himself that this wasn't a good idea

He was always prone to being wobbled in his prime, this is dangerous

That's a good shout and perfectly explains the reasons why these guys come back.

Razor Ruddock in particular has barely aged facially since the 90s and they look in the mirror and see the exact same guy, so they think despite being closer to death than birth, they think time has stood still and they can just pick up where they left.

Benn's delusion is even worse because he believes because he's stopped smoking weed and shagging any woman with a pair of tits and started Bible bashing that will somehow change the fact that he was completely shot a quarter of a century ago.
