You’re scuppered if your favourite weight division is listed below:

• Cruiserweight
• Super Middleweight
• Middleweight
• Junior Middleweight
• Junior Welterweight
• Junior Lightweight
• Junior Featherweight
• Bantamweight
• Junior Bantamweight
• Flyweight
• Junior Flyweight
• Strawweight

i asked which is the best, not someones favourite. LH and WW are the divisions with the most talent, with the best boxers, there isnt much argueing about that EO

Without intending to be insulting, but I suspect English isn’t your first language.

Do you actually know what the dictionary definition of the word best, as well as some of its synonyms?

The criteria used for the application of the word “best” is often subjective in nature and dependent on the eye of the beholder, since it can mean many things to many different people.

Sometimes the “best” can often mean “favourite” depending on its context.

Anyway, back on topic, what about the other weight divisions I previously mentioned? You've omitted them, simply because YOU don't class them amongst the BEST that boxing has to offer.

And if this is the case, why bother to ask others for their opinions?

you are correct.

when someones asked who was the best during the world cup, than the answer isnt whos paying style was someones favourite, but which team won the damn world cup and therefore became THE BEST

i cant understand guys like u making things far to complicated for no reason. vergil ortiz is my favourite boxer right, but i would never say he is the best boxer in the world, since his footwork and technique is light years away from lomas. u get m point,

these divisions arent considered amongs the best, simply look at the talent pool in those divisions and you answer your question yourself. why should i include divisions with mostley b level boxers at the top? why should i include divisions with 0 stars or p4p boxer?

My favorites:
Middleweight: Canelo, GGG, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko are world elite and they actually fought each other. Patiently waiting if Andrade, Charlo and Saunders can do something. Murata revenge over Brant was unexpected plus.

Light Heavyweight: Kovalev, Beterbiev, Gvozdyk and Bivol. Hart and Ramirez are also there. Also dont write off Pascal, Jack, Smith jr, Eleider Alvarez and Barrera. Lot of solid fights were made last years.

Light Middleweight: Hurd, Charlo, Harrison, Munguia, Williams, Lara, Castano. Was very disapointed by Hurd loss, hopefully he come back.

The best division is where the best fight each other, producing the best fights

So it isn't heavyweight is it

It was SLW until last week. Now that division will fester until Taylor and Ramirez fight- or don't.

The best division is HW. My favourite division is HW. Period !

There are several very hot divisions (beyond HW) :

LHW, MW, WW, LWW and recently LW.

The rest is pretty weak (CW without Gassiev, and especially Usyk is a border-line case).

Ya, though funny enough, just the antcipation of good fights adds excitment too. Sometimes, once they've already happened, there is almost a strange empty feeling as far as the division's excimtent

It's like, you look forward to your birthday or Christmas, and it's great, but then it's over

you have no idea

in the history of the light heavyweight division the division never looked better than now.

i remember the days when there was just roy jones jr and dariusz michalchewski as top LH and now we have bertebiev, kovalev, bivol, gvozdyk and even outside the the top 5 there are still good boxers around.

Cruiserweight was the strongest but with Usyk and Gassiev moving up it's not as trong but it's still good.

Light Heavyweight is the strongest right now definitely.

Light Middleweight and Super Middleweight are the weakest.

In my opinion, chicken tikka pakora is the best food dish in the world.

Who’s to say otherwise? :TU:

Point made.

I went with lightweight. Just look at the current list of competitors .... Vasyl Lomachenko, Devin Haney, Tank Davis, Richard Comey, Ryan Garcia, Teofimo Lopez and more. That division is stacked with talent.

tank is still at super fetherweight. i hop he goes to lw.

but you right, lw is full of good boxers. also they in prime shape. they so young they may not even be prime but enter prime. ww may be over as the best division of boxing. pacquiao is at the end, spence is not sure if he will ever box again, thurman desire to box is questionable. vergil ortiz will wipe out the division.
