Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
Jared Anderson and Guido Vianello will be on the undercard vs TBA opponents at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, on November 30th. Vianello is a curiousity to me and I'm following him based on the limited video I've seen on him. Decent size and movement with fair power so far. Anderson has me excited, probably because he's only 19 and we Americans rarely have young prospects at HW anymore.
Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
American have HUNDREDS of heavyweights/heavyweight prospects. (292 current heavyweights)
Way more than anyother country, go look at the numbers on boxrec rankings. USA have more current pro boxers at heavyweight alone than the Ukraine have in all weight divisions!
What you should have wrote
Is 'rarely have GOOD young hw prospects'. You have the quantity you just don't have the quality.

Maybe you should look up the word 'prospect.'Szaman wrote: ↑07 Nov 2019, 17:34American have HUNDREDS of heavyweights/heavyweight prospects. (292 current heavyweights)

Too soon on Anderson and Hines. Hines last showing was underwhelming.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑07 Nov 2019, 17:47 Who are the US prospects with real potential these days

Don't see much on the others, although I've been following all of them for some time.

Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
Sonny Conto is probably the best USA HW prospect. Chaney, Shaw and Franklin are garbage.
Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
Lol I disagree, so who would you say are the best American heavyweights prospects then? Apart from this Anderson guy who I've not seen yet.
Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
Too soon to tell on them. Conto is too small and does nothing special. Boxing is dying in America. Large athletes are opting for basketball and football for years now. You can tell just by the amatuer programs and lack of success in international amateur events including the Olympics that it's not the sport it was decades ago.
If pushed to name a couple, the best of the poor bunch are probably Jermaine Franklin and Darmani Rock right now. Doesn't say much.
Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
Franklin looks terrible to me, Rock has some talent but I think he's the lazy type.oogiebe wrote: ↑07 Nov 2019, 18:58Too soon to tell on them. Conto is too small and does nothing special. It's funny because Americans have been saying that ever sonce the rest of the world could compete lol! I hate excuses in boxing. American heavyweights just aren't good enough it's as simple as that. You can't be making any any excuses when the USA has nearly 300 current active heavyweights which is far more than any other countries, most countries have about 5-20 heavyweights
Plus you have the best facilities/gyms, best trainers, etc.
Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
That's some hatred you have. Facts are facts. Get over it.Szaman wrote: ↑07 Nov 2019, 21:25Franklin looks terrible to me, Rock has some talent but I think he's the lazy type.oogiebe wrote: ↑07 Nov 2019, 18:58

No hatred. And yes facts are facts and everything I wrote was facts, American HW's just aren't good enough, deal with it without making pathetic excuses.oogiebe wrote: ↑07 Nov 2019, 21:31That's some hatred you have. Facts are facts. Get over it.Szaman wrote: ↑07 Nov 2019, 21:25

Angel Garcia quote - '' the truth hurts and people don't like the truth''
I've forgot more than you've ever known you turd.
All countries all over the world have loads of sports more popular than Boxing. Yet they don't make any excuses like the USA does, and they don't have 300 current active heavyweights either lol!
Now run along and watch your Dontae's Boxing Nation videos

The only thing Conto has going for him is what Ali called "the complexion to make the connection". You sound a lot like that goofy dude that used to post here under the user name "Freedom 2013". Is that you F2013?
Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
I don't remember Freedom 2013, but if he was like Szaman, he'd be forgetable.Best Coast wrote: ↑16 Nov 2019, 18:39The only thing Conto has going for him is what Ali called "the complexion to make the connection". You didnt miss much. F2013 was Canadian and hated American fighters, especially black US fighters. He hasnt been here for a couple years, he may have been banned for racially bigoted comments.oogiebe wrote: ↑16 Nov 2019, 18:44I don't remember Freedom 2013, but if he was like Szaman, he'd be forgetable.Best Coast wrote: ↑16 Nov 2019, 18:39

Sonny Conto! SMDH.
Re: Anderson and Vianello in Las Vegas 11/30
Could be, but I suspect he's eastern european and a bit 'soft' in the head.Best Coast wrote: ↑16 Nov 2019, 19:17You didnt miss much. Would Stephen Shaw and Pat Mailata beat him up you think?
