Naoya had him by 116-111. Agreeing with RKO the KD sealed it real good.

Great tough fight, again kudos too them both.

Great fight. Both guys elevated immensely in this fight. Donaire finds fountain of youth. Monster taken to the brink with bad cut. Probably foty.

What a fight, bantam weight speed and endurance is epic but normally lacks the excitement of potential one punch ko power but not with these two. Can't see the judge that had it 6 rounds each, but close fight anyway.

But What was the deal with that knockdown? Ref got between them before he went down. Was that accedently? Was he going to give a standing 8 for a body shot if he didn't take a knee? Was he stopping the fight and changed his mind when donaire took a knee?

That Might of cost Inoue a chance at chacing him down with a left hook to a hurt guy facing away. Ultimately dosent matter he got the win, but what if he was behind on the cards that could of been a pivotal point.

I haven't timed it exactly, but that felt like a long ass count for Nonito

Great fight!

I gave Donaire 2, 3, 8 and 9, but 4 and 7 were probably close enough they could have been scored either way. It's a stretch, but sat in a fixed position for the full 12, it's possible a judge could see Donaire winning those 6 rounds. If he scored 1, 5, 6, or any of the last 3 to Donaire, then I'd be asking questions.

No worries mate, I recorded it. Wife is a Monster fan, so I have to wait until the weekend when she comes out to the farm to watch it together.

A great real throwback fight. Can't remember the last time the crowd got so much into a fight.

Donaire fought with an effective game plan showed a great chin and plenty of guts right up til the final bell. He was up against it from start to finish and will go down as a true champion.

A modern day classic indeed.

Looking back, jumpin' jack flash was that an awkwardly handled knockdown. Ref let Donaire jog around for five seconds before going down, then counted for twelve seconds and let him get up and continue.

Watched the highlights and call me retarded but man I'm just not into the one punch at a time style. Never liked Donaire because of that flash. Grates me for some reason, about as bad as a defensive fighter throwing one punch at a time. Throw combos, ffs.
